timtrader Posted September 16, 2014 Report Share Posted September 16, 2014 Today MT hasn't been showing any new news for me. I have news turned on for both Yahoo and IQFeed. I've tried stopping MT, renaming the SDATA.BIN, SNEWS.BIN, and SNEWS.BIN.bak files, but this doesn't fix the problem. I originally had the "# of days to keep (all sources)" set to 60 and the check box checked to monitor all portfolios. The weird result for this is that it was showing news beginning 60 days back (July 15th) and older, but nothing more recent. I changed the number of days to keep to 5, shut down MT, renamed the files, restarted MT, and now its showing the newest news beginning 5 days back (September 10th) and older, not the 5 most recent days.
