  1. Thank you. I have a better grasp of the platform choices to make a decision on how to approach this. I appreciate it. ...Xin
  2. Thanks for the quick response. So if I understand you correctly, I can sign up with TradeKing, using your instructions found on "TradeKing MB Trading Signup" webpage, selecting The MB Trading Platform. When I use the Medved Trader I do not have to actually place trades through MT, just check my balance with Trade King using MT and that would be sufficient to be eligible for the MT Premium Access. If I do place any trades, it also sounds like if I select the MB Trading Platform I will have to choose placing trades either through the MBT Desktop Pro or MT since there is no website available. If I were to choose the TradeKing Original Platform or system I would not be able to make trades using MT until they merge both systems in the future, I would have to go to TradeKing's website to place trades. Does that sound right? Thanks.
  3. Hi Jerry, I am in the process of attempting to sign up for the TradeKing Account and take advantage of your generous offer of obtaining the Medved Trader Premium Access. I have some questions about the process that I am a bit confused about. I hope I can explain my question coherently. Your website "TradeKing MB Trading Signup" indicates that there are two platforms, the main TradeKing platform, and the MB Trading platform. It then shows the procedure for signing up for the MB Trading Platform. In your statement above you said "Use your TradeKing account for either quotes or trading. (In the case of MB Trading clients, it has to be trading specifically)." I had hoped to use what ever platform I chose for just the quotes and trade directly from the brokers website (unless in the future I determine it better to make trades directly through MT). My questions are: (1). If I chose to set up the TradeKing account with the MB Trading Platform will I have to "be trading specifically" or can I just use MT with the quotes option to have Premium Access? (2). Will I be considered an "MB Trading Client"? (3). If I wanted to use MT with just the quotes connected and am using the MB Trading Platform would I not qualify for the Premium Access? (4). You recommend the MB Trading Platform over the "Main TradeKing Platform", can you tell me what are the advantages of the MB Platform? Thank you for any information you can supply. Regards, Xin
  4. Thank You. I appreciate the help. Xin
  5. Thanks Jerry. I do see that now on the Intraday Charts. I have been using the Historical Charts instead. I guess there is no way to get rid of the spikes on the historical ones. Correct?
  6. Hi, Can you tell me how to eliminate the high and low spikes on the charts. I remember the old quote tracker had that option but I cannot seem to find it. Thanks.
  7. Hi Jerry, Unfortunately, I had already cleared the data from each locked up chart. I won't be able to get the old Quote Data to you. Sorry about that. If I run into the problem again I will let you know. Thanks, Xin
  8. I think I may have fixed the chart not updating problem. First I deleted the symbol from the portfolio and deleted the chart, shut down and restarted. Added the symbol again and brought up the chart but all that did not help. The chart still remained locked up and would not update. I started to look at the chart itself and went into the MAIN tab of the historical chart and clicked on the Eraser CLEAR symbol, this erased all data from the chart. I then clicked on Backfill and it filled it and the chart started to work and follow the symbol in the portfolio. I tried another locked up chart like that and it started to function again. So far so good. Xin
  9. Hi Jerry, I will send the file after the markets open today. I am unable to see which charts are not updating until there is price movement. Thanks.
  10. Hi Jerry, I have my portfolios set up with the symbols listed and they are updating OK. Any Intraday charts I use also update fine. Under Charts/General have the following checked: Active Quote Subscription Real-Time Updates for Historical Charts Auto Backfill Intraday Charts Auto Backfill Historical Charts Some of the Daily Historical charts that are listed in my Portfolio are updating ok but others freeze up and will not update automatically. They were working before but since doing an update a while back, which didn't seem to really update correctly, sort of got hung up in the middle, I have run into this problem. At least as best as I can remember. I didn't associate the problem update with this issue until now. Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks
  11. Hi, I am running into the problem that some of my Daily Historical Charts will not update with each tick change of the price of the stock. They seem to freeze and I have to manually backfill them to get the correct price. They then stop again requiring me to continue to manually backfill them. I checked my settings and they all seem to be checked to update them constantly. It had been working until recently. Some of the charts are updating but others are not. Any suggestions what to look for or do? Thanks, Xinfinitum
  12. Ahhhhh.....OK. I see. Excellent. Thank you.
  13. Hi, I looked the forum over but couldn't find anything about this. In the old QT the Portfolio Screen and the Charts were connected together (perhaps by default), so that if I minimized my Portfolio screen all the charts went with it and maximizing it again brought it all back up. This enabled me to quickly bring up everything at once, quickly scan my charts then push it down (minimize) to do other things. I tried the pins thing but that didn't seem to connect the chart to the portfolio page for minimizinf/maximizing. Is it possible to still do the above on MT? Thanks, Xin
