Thanks for all the work on this build.  Tightened up some really needed issues. Opening was nightmare regarding bad old TDA.

Reminded me of those late 90s hot summer Mondays when TDA/QT be down for as much as 90 mins sometimes, esp if after a

three day major Holiday.  Average was 45 mins to get it going.

MT ran like champ once feed kicked in.   Lot of promisey.  Now for some Research to go with News.  Can't wait to see this in all its glory, market be damned!

Can a particular spike be permanently disabled ?

Thanks

If you use the Spike Removal, MT sets that value to zero. It does not remove the record. That way, subsequent backfills will not fill it back in.  Unless of course you clear the data entirely

"that value" refers to the "spike" value.  So if you hit CTRL+SHIFT+H (to remove the highest point on the chart within the viewable area), MT will look through the records for every day within the viewable area, find which one has the highest value (among Open, High, Low, Close), then set that value to zero. so if the HIGH on a particular day is the highest value within the visible chart, the HIGH will be set to zero.  MT chart will not draw zero values.
