HK~ Posted January 7, 2014 Report Share Posted January 7, 2014 Can you please advise keyboard shortcuts for continuous Zoom Primarily concerned with ability to compress/expand time scale. Same as click/drag on price scale [padding] magnify +/- on keyboard works for zoom, however, on keyboards without dedicated mag buttons, control +/- does not function as with browsers [ctrl + = new raw data window] attempted View/zoom while holding down ctrl/alt/shift keys, none allow continuous zooming attempted holding down ctrl/alt/shift keys - left/right click + directional buttons, scrolls, no zoom attempted, click & dragging on time scale [and chart] to zoom similar as click and drag on price scale [padding], unsuccessful. Thank you kindly, HK Found workaround, prior to selecting View, deselect "minimize ribbon" then View/Zoom, keeps ribbon open, allowing continuous clicking on Zoom +/- icons however, after manually minimizing ribbon, you must go back to drop down menu on top to deselect minimize ribbon again. Jerry Medved Posted January 7, 2014 Report Share Posted January 7, 2014 there are 4 zoom options Ribbon Buttons + and - keys holding down the CTRL Key and then using the mouse wheel holding down the CTRL Key and then highlighting the area that you want to zoom in on on the chart. When you let go of the mouse button, it zooms The + and - keys should work even on laptop keyboards, though you may need tho hold down the FN key or something similar to get to those keys. HK~ Posted January 7, 2014 Author Report Share Posted January 7, 2014 Thank you so much, figured out the workaround for ribbon buttons earlier +/- key on keyboard works fine [using a logitech dinovo wireless keyboard, didn't have number keypad, grabbed a regular logitech keyboard and +/- works great logitech trackball CTRL key wheel not working, need to check configuration CTRL Key and highlighting, zoom fine, zoom back not working yet...
