zulu_principle Posted January 20, 2017 Report Share Posted January 20, 2017 wondering if im missing something, i have charts with various alerts, when an alert fires and i choose to open up the chart, it sometimes brings me to a blank chart without the alerts...is there a way to bring up the chart with the alerts on? Jerry Medved Posted January 20, 2017 Report Share Posted January 20, 2017 MT will try to bring up the chart with the same settings or compatible settings to the ones tied to the alert. If it cannot find an existing chart matching the settings, it opens a new one. could be that something has changed on the chart since the alert was created that would make the chart different what is needed for the alert. if you want me to check what is going on, Go to FILE / HELP => Send Log/Settings to support menu (from Dashboard or Portfolio) In the comment, include the URL to this post, and indicate which alert I should look at and which chart you think should be brought up when the alert triggers. Also note - you can see which chart will get brought up for the alert without having to wait for it to trigger. You can go to the alert editor, click on the trendline alert in question and then click on the SHOW CHART button on the top right Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
