Clearing the trade ticket

I have the box checked that says to clear the trade ticket after order filled.  But not all my orders are cancelled if my stop loss is filled.  Is there something else I need to do?

Huh? not sure what you mean. What does clearing the trade ticket have to do with cancelling orders?

Sorry, I thought it was the same thing.  Is there anyway to cancel all my orders if my stop loss is filled?  Like a range order.  If my profit target is hit, then my stop loss order is cancelled.

no, that setting is to just clear the fields on the trade ticket.

I think what you are looking for is the "Bracket" order (OCA - One Cancels Another).  If the broker you are using supports those, you would see BRACKET (OCA) as an available order type in MT.  Instead of placing a separate SELL LIMIT and a SELL STOP order, you would enter one SELL BRACKET order with a low and a high price.  the LOW price would be the STOP MARKET  order and the high would be a LIMIT order. If one is hit, the other would be cancelled.

Thanks for the quick reply.  Where would I see the Bracket order if it was available?  I'm using Ally MBT.

Evaluation version - does not matter, though if your account is live, and funded ($500 or higher account value), it will have premium access anyway.
