osaga Posted July 31, 2018 Report Share Posted July 31, 2018 Hello Medved Great app so far! So I am connected via IB using the gateway app. It shows the API client is connected. Using same port and settings you have prescribed. When I try to send an order it does nothing. I also keep getting "Faulted" as the state. When I try to relogin I get the same faulted state. Jerry Medved Posted July 31, 2018 Report Share Posted July 31, 2018 MT makes separate connections for quotes and for trading. your quotes connection is OK. Your trading connection however is not. go to SETTINGS / TRADING / ACCOUNTS. Click on the IB connection (top level, not the account). And make sure that the settings there are correct. Should be the same TWS IP Address and Socket port as what you have for IB on SETTINGS / DATA SOURCES / CONFIGURE ACCOUNTS, with IB selected.
