narbassi
Jerry I was originally using QT via Datek called Wall Street. Then Ameritrade brought Datek. I than changed to Ameritrade + QT. Then found Ameritrade data feed crap. Then went to Interactive Brokers + QT. So when Ameritrade brought QT from you, I thought, that was the end of QT sooner or later. Ameritrade have a history of screwing things up. I see that you have a price tag of 150 dollars for MT. I think there are other people in the group who would not mind paying a higher fee, so that it is a WIN WIN situation for you and ourselves who have been using QT. Also once a person is dragged into Financial World, hardly anyone gives it up. So we are all in it for the long haul. I am still using QT with IB although backfill no longer works. Also without warning Ameritrade took away Integrated trading for IB. Can I please join the beta group. Thank you, for such excellent software Narinder

Jerry Medved
have not set an official price. That was from wone of my comments on Elite I think, or some other forumn - thinking of aroung 150 per year. or that ballpark range
whereRU
Jerry, Just happened on your notice in the support forum at QT this afternoon. May I please try the MT beta download. Currently using QT with Interactive Broker and opened an account with TD to keep it .... never found a decent replacement for futures trading. So excited to hear you are back and will have a coding function similar to paintbars!!! I have QT running on Windows PC and on Mac in Windows emulator. Thanks for such a timeless product. marchndm
Greetings Jerry; been using QT for > decade and still using for following groups of stocks and my portfolio. Been using Globe Investor feed but it seems to have broken a few days ago so i guess its time to move onto MT if possible. Read your notes on SI and I can move to Stockwatch for data feed. Would appreciate getting the beta of MT. regards

Jerry Medved
I emailed you the download URL. download and install MT on the new computer. You can login with the same login you use on the other computer - do not need to register again As for your setup, on your old computer run MT and go to FILE / Export Settings. Leave the checkboxes already checked, and select "For <your email address> Account Only" on the right side. Export, and then transfer the exported file to the new computer On the new computer, run MT, go to FILE / Import Settings. Select the file you transferred from the old computer and import. Thats all
