IB Level 2 is not populated with data

Hello Jerry,

Using MT now with IB, I cna see the bidxask in the raw data updated correctly, however there is no data populated in the L2 window.

when i switch the feed to Ameritrade It gets populated (I have acct's tin both)

 

(on a different note, when installing MT for the first time i accidentally chose stockwatch, (where i dont have an acct, and it keep doing asking for user/pas son start up) i couldn't find a way to remove it.

Stockwatch - you have it selected for news. Go to settings, news, and unchecked it there

As for IB, do you have a subscription with them for level II ? And if so, do you have that option checked on Settings, account setup?

I have the basic LL2 where you have the first best bid offer on the available exchanges, + I added the Arca book

i can see it at IB TWS platform but not on MT.

(I tried checking Total view - even though i dont have it, and tried to check the NYSE book, with no positive results)

Unfortunately it is not possible to exactly match the display in TWS because they get some stuff that is not available via API. I checked.

 

What exact symbols?

 

did you reconnect by any chance since making changes to the IB settings?

 

Can you turn off the quotes on the portfolio, set log level to 200 on dashboard, then hit stop/start on the Level II window.. wait 10 to 15 sec. If still no data, 

go to FILE / Export Settings. 

Leave the checkboxes already checked, and also check LOG FILE.

Export, then email me the exported file please.

 

(set logging back to 10 after emailing)
