I tried Yahoo Finance but its getting late and most of time yahoo not fetching datat at all. Can smbody explain how to adjust settings so MT works stable like QT. I only use/need MT for charting. Jerry Medved Posted November 3, 2014 Report Share Posted November 3, 2014 you said you cannot bet MT to backfill with IB. Do quotes work? That is generally the first thing you want to try. If QT is able to connect, then TWS is already configured to allow MT connections (API is enabled). Do 3 things: 1) Select IB as the quote source on the portfolio and start the quotes if not already started 2) Select IB as the default Backfill source on the dashboard 2) Select IB as the default Historical Backfill source on the dashboard Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
