  2. if you name a color, then the value you specify in the code is just the default and overriden when it is actually used on the chart. Remove the naming parameter. SetColorAndShape(PBShape.Fill, Color.Purple );
  3. we are fixing this. Meanwhile, if you change it to (Close.Crosses(EMA_10[0]) || Close.Crosses(EMA_20[0])) && (EMA_10[0] >= VWAP_U[0]) && (Open[3] >= Close[0]) && (High[3] >= High[0]) ) it will work NOTE: | is a bitwise OR where as || is a logical OR. Need to use || or MT supports the word OR
  4. 🙂 busted again , someone there isn't doing their job
  5. Jerry, have a couple of accounts, and I would absolutely use it for trading. Thanks.
  6. Nice, thank you! The transparency component was throwing me off there. But I am having another problem. When I specify a color in code it does not have an effect. The colors seem to have a life of their own or are locked to whatever colors are selected by default or otherwise in the Parameters box. How can I reset them or make them subordinate to what I've in code? For example, I'm using this: SetColorAndShape("INHAMMER", PBShape.Fill, Color.Purple ); TriggerAlert("test!", @"test."); SetScanResult(@"test"); And the paintbar as drawn is showing up Red.
  7. Why does this work: (Close <= EMA_10+.05 && Close > EMA_10-.05) && (EMA_10 >= VWAP_U) && (Open[3] >= Close) && (High[3] >= High) ) but then this fails: (Close.Crosses(EMA_10) | Close.Crosses(EMA_20)) && (EMA_10 >= VWAP_U) && (Open[3] >= Close) && (High[3] >= High) ) with the error codes: 25, 102 CS0019 Operator '>=' cannot be applied to operands of type 'MT.Charting.PaintbarBase.IndexedPropertyDouble' and 'MT.Charting.PaintbarBase.IndexedPropertyDouble' 25, 124 CS0019 Operator '>=' cannot be applied to operands of type 'double' and 'MT.Charting.PaintbarBase.IndexedPropertyDouble' 25, 146 CS0019 Operator '>=' cannot be applied to operands of type 'double' and 'MT.Charting.PaintbarBase.IndexedPropertyDouble' The EMA, Open[3] and High[3] elements are highlighted but none of that code was changed. Thanks
  8. one more thing - note that you don't have to figure out the colors. We Have the Color INSERT button on the toolbar of the Advanced Editor. put the cursor in the code where you want the color code to go, click on the INSERT button for the color palette, select the color, done.

  10. There are three ways to specify a color. 1. Color.something - like Color.Black, Color.White, Color.Lime etc. - these are absolute colors. 2. SysColor.something - like SysColor.Positive, SysColor.Bid, SysColor.MainIndicator1 - these colors are taken from the current chart's color scheme. 3. the hex format. 0xFF9399FF - the first FF is transparency, just always leave it FF. 93 is the red component, 99 is green, FF is blue. So this color would be a bluish gray. FF is max, so the 0xFF9399FF is a lightish blue. See https://www.color-hex.com/ your 0xFF9399FF would be equivalent to #9399FF there.
  11. Trying to determine how I can specify in code the color of the paintbar? I can select the color manually in the Parameters box but I want to be able to control the color from within the code for testing purposes and customization of colors when different conditions are met within the same paintbar. For example, multiple IF conditions each with a separate color... In one of the paintbars I created I can see 0xFF9399FF set within SetColorAndShape but I'm unfamiliar with this number format can't investigate further. Thanks
  12. I stand corrected. It was an MT issue that got triggered when # of transactions went over 100. I sent you an update.
  13. Thanks Jerry! Hope to hear from you soon.
  14. ok, there is definitely an issue and the change was not on our end. Servers are returning WAY Too much history, which is why it is slow as heck. Looking and will see if we can do anything and also report to them.
  15. no, not trade log. The log file from the program: Go to FILE / HELP => Send Log/Settings to support menu (from Dashboard or Portfolio) And add this Post’s URL in the comment.
  16. Do you mean the trade log? No open orders from before or during the day. It now takes forever to place an order. It is much worse than last week. It used to take 2 sec to see an order posted but not it takes 30 seconds. Almost unusuable. Something happened over the weekend.
  17. do you have some open orders from previous day or early in the day? send me the logs and I can check
  18. Thanks Jerry I got it to work but I have another problem with the transaction window updating slower as the day goes on. It comes to a crawl toward the end of the trading day. Maybe because i do more than a hundred trades a day? Is there a fix for it?
  19. Ok thanks Jerry, I am trying but it is not working.
  20. Is the login a popup website or login a medved popup?
  21. E*Trade login should now be working!!!
  22. We are working on adding Fidelity for trading to MT. It would be same type of setup as we did for Robinhood - no data. Trading only. This is due to the fact that Fidelity does not cooperate and does not have a public API. So... seeking feeback - Do you'all have a Fidelity account? would you use it for trading in MT?
  23. So you have notified Etrade of the login issue. I thought I was the only one. I guess we will have to wait. Hopefully it is fixed today. Thanks
  24. there is no beta right now. As for the login, it is an E*Trade issue. We notified them and waiting for them to fix. Meanwhile, We got a workaround for the quotes. Select FILE / HELP => Check for updates. Let MT update all files, then restart MT even if nothing was updated.
  25. Hi Jerry, I am unable to login with the new beta. No popup login etrade website or account information showing up. Thanks
