I have US Equity Markets selected.

Today is Friday 01/12/24 and Monday is MLK day 01/15/24 and the markets are closed. In the lower right of MT is says markets open in 2 days, 16 hours which would be 9:30ET Monday morning.

I guess I was using it wrong. It uses AND OR NOT operators, I was trying to use +/- operators.
I wanted to filter out lawyers and lawsuit articles, so here's what I wrote, and it works: not "shareholder alert" and not "deadline alert" and not rosen and not glancy and not kirby

For some reason, I don't have the "symbols" row like you do, only "headline" and "source."

Unless I'm using it wrong, that filters news articles you want to see, it doesn't exclude articles by keyword.

I received this message today from TDA. I looks like they're pushing back the transfer date. Maybe it's due to the API issue.
"We are getting ready to transition your TD Ameritrade accounts to Schwab next year. You may have previously been informed that your account would move to Schwab in early 2024. We want to let you know that we have landed on the account transition timing, which will be the weekend of May 10, 2024. We recognize that this may be later than you expected, but we want to ensure the services you use today are fully available to you at Schwab. It's all part of our effort to make the move as seamless as possible for you."

Seeing as how you guys are just sitting around doing nothing while waiting for the Schwab API information, I have a feature request you could maybe work on. 🤣
Is there a way to have a grand total value displayed for all accounts setup in in MT?
(Just joking about the laying around part, I know you guys haven't slept in something like 20-years.) 👍

For some reason my last remaining TD Ameritrade account is showing up twice in the settings/trading/accounts window. I've tried to delete each, and both, and all MT will allow is for them to be temporarily disabled, can't delete them.

Why didn't you just open a new TD Ameritrade account? Any new TDA accounts are too new to be transferred yet, so any new account will not get transferred until March 2024. Webull also charges 2.99/mo. for level 2 quotes while TDA does not.

Got that same email saying how "others" have already integrated into the Schwab API. It's not a good sign when our "new broker" starts out by lying to us.

FYI, I was just speaking to customer support on another matter and asked about the transition status. He told me last Friday was the rough cut off date, with yesterday (Wednesday 10/25/23) being the hard cut-off date regarding delay to March requests. So, if anyone is thinking of calling now and requesting the delay, you're out of luck.
So chop, chop, let's get that API stuff going! 🙂

Jerry, so what exactly is the hold up with the API from Schwab? Is it that they don't have something in place, software-wise or hardware-wise, or are they dragging their feet because they want everyone to use their Street Smart platform instead of 3rd party one, such as MT?

I doubt they care; if they did, the API information would already be in Jerry's hands.

Hmm, I've always wondered why the bid and ask move almost the instant I open my trade window. It looks like they see me setting up my trade before I execute it.

Did any new information come to light in the past 1.5-2 weeks? What about trading on Schwab through MT...will it be possible, or is it still too early to tell?

Any update on the Schwab API? Also, will MT be good on Schwab not just for quotes, but trading as well?
I just got my notice that I'm being switched to Schwab the weekend of November 3rd.

FYI, I finally got to try the CTRL+2 and then CTRL+1 method today and it worked, in fact it was an identical result as when minimizing then restoring the window.

I've never tried that, didn't think about trying it. I will try it next time it happens and let you know what happens.

I don't know if it's just me or if other have seen this as well. But sometimes, not every time, when restoring MT from a minimized position recent quote chart lines are broken. Minimizing MT again and then restoring usually clears it up. I thought about video drivers and all that, but this does not happen with any other program on my computer. I've attached an image of the issue.

Yes I do. I had version 1.1.9932.100 x64 installed and just noticed there is a newer version 1.1.9932.102 x64 available. I did the update, restarted and now it correctly says 3 days, 16 hours.
Not sure why I was never prompted for the update. I usually am.
