    Close All

Thanks for this explanation. I was finding it a bit cumbersome to close MT
  2. The issue occurs only with the “Current Day” period (not with a shorter period such as 1 hr) and whether or not “Show Entire Current Day” is selected. The scale is adjusted to include the previous close of the previous day (as you suggested) and not the previous day’s range as I first stated. If I select “Show Only Last Day”, then the scale is correct for the current day. I keep many open charts with a default period of Current Day and with a Previous Close indicator - so this is important to me. However, Show Only Last Day for the indicator is an acceptable fix (though I would prefer not to select this).
  3. I use a horizontal line “Previous Close” indicator on all charts to see the current day’s gain/loss and use “Adjust Scale” in order to see the line if the current day opened with a large gain or loss. The scale of the chart is adjusted to include the whole previous day’s range and not just the previous day’s close (as it does in QT). This can cause the chart to have the incorrect scale for the current day if the previous day had a large gain or loss and is significant on some day’s charts.
