I expected to unravel this eventually intuitively, bot not so far. What does the 1* at the top of option chain perform? Is there a way to show the options for $spx and $rut?, SPXW, spxpm etc don't work for me, and neither do spx, $spx $spxw, etc etc. Option combos orders in IB do not show in the MT transaction window, at least with iron condors in my hands. Got it! The critical item I overlooked is that the API etc settings must be changed in the Paper Trading account in TWS. After that, adding the new paper account to MT was a breeze. Thanks again.

I use MT daily to trade at IB happily. However, try as I may, I cannot create or log into my existing paper trading account with MT. All my attempts produce an error message from IB concerning failed verification . The paper trading account works from TWS without problem. thank you.
