  2. Okay, I see. Do you get the issue even if you login with different usernames ? Or only if the same username? This would definitely be MBT Pro issue with multiple login detection. I will let them know. Meanwhile, just start their program first. MT does not do that kind of a check.

  6. as far as I knew up to this point, yes. Based on your description, at the very least you can do so if you launch MBT app first. I am trying to get clarification on this.
  7. The quote connection to MB Trading in QT and in MT is the same. As is the connection by MB Trading Navigator itself The trading connection though is different. QT used components of the MBT Navigator, which made it so that you could not run QT and MBT Nav at the same time. MT doesn't do that. It connects to the servers directly, basically same as MBT Nav does itself. There may be some checks that they do in MBT Nav that cause a problem if there is an existing connection. Please contact MBT Support about that. I will try checking on that as well. In case the support person does not know how MT is connecting, have them contact us and we will be glad to assist.

  12. you can set the scroll bar height to be very small but cannot get rid of it entirely.
  13. I do not know what you refer to. Please email a picture of what you are talking about to our support.
  14. because you have IQFeed selected for something. Could be Level I data, Level II, Backfill, News. My guess is News. On the main dashboard, select SOURCES on top. on the line showing IQFeed, which field has a value other than 0?
  15. We will look at it. I am sure we will do it eventually, but right now it is priority to get this thing out the door. Now till end of year will be finalizing Chart Trading and dealing with the web site.
  16. oops. All the "Trade" windows have the setting to resize the window automatically turned on, thus ignoring the setting. Well, we are working on Chart Trading, so Charts are now considered "Trade" windows, and I forgot to adjust that one setting. Will fix.
  17. TradingRoom AU - seems to be working fine here. What exactly are you getting when you backfill? Please email me a picture, description BellDirect - cannot check - don't have access right now. If you clear the historical chart and then try to backfill, do you get nothing? Please set the log level to 200 on the bottom of the main dashboard. Then, go to FILE / Export Settings. Leave the checkboxes already checked, and also check LOG FILE. Export, then email me the exported file please. Also, go to folder: %LOCALAPPDATA%\2GK\Medved Trader\temp\streamers and email me the files named BELLDIRECT*.html (zip them up first) Widows are taking long time to open/close - I assume you are referring to MT windows? What security software are you using?
  18. NICE. I didn't think I even had translucency enabled on the dashboard.Can you send me your settings?
  19. there are 3 things that can impact this. 1) In MT, SETTINGS / CHARTS / General - in the Data section - Max # of Days of Intraday data - if its set to 1, increase it. 2) In MT, SETTINGS / DATA SOURCES / CONFIGURE ACCOUNTS - click on IQFEED. Makd sure the "Intraday TICK Backfill - Number of days" is set to more than 1 3) IQFeed limits amount of tick data that can be retrieved during market hours and increases it after-hours. So how much data you can get will vary depending on when you request it. However, I am pretty sure it is more than 1 day. Jerry

  21. also, indicate in the email what you are doing at the time you get the error - are you getting quotes? Option chains? Do you have IB Positions/Transactions open and have some options in there?

  23. MT uses the dashboard. Settings button is available on the Dashboard, but also from the FILE menu on Portfolios and some other screens. You can also get to the settings button by clicking the little corner button on many Sections on the ribbon. You can bring up a quick dropdown dashboard by hitting F12 on any MT window (or clicking the little multicolor icon). You can bring up the main Dashboard window by hitting SHIFT+F12. MT also has what we call a floating window icon, which is a good central access to MT stuff. It floats separately and stays up even when other windows are minimized. You can turn it on via the SETTING MENU on the main dashboard. In MT all global stuff is configured in the settings. All local stuff (stuff specific to each individual window) is on that window's ribbon.
