  1. if the lower section is not filled out, there will be no market data. It needs to be filled out. Ninja has their own data, so not comparable. So, did you login with R|Trader Pro with the market data section filled out and system set to "Rithmic Test"?
  2. did you do setup per instructions at: https://medvedtrader.com/rithmic and is this live or paper trading?
  3. Yes, MT works with IB for data and trading.
  4. We've made progress in the last few days - so now have almost everything in place for when we release. Just waiting on a few fixes to be released in production on Schwab servers. As for futures, once the initial API stuff is released, I am sure the spotlight will be switched to that. For the time being, futures do work for quotes and backfill, so that will be in the initial release.
  5. right now - no. it is something being considered
  6. hmm, that I do not know. Start low and can add.
  7. force relogin (maybe a couple times if it fails)
  8. Futures - please note that you could not trade futures via MT with TD Ameritrade in the first place. Initial implementation of Schwab API will not support futures either as it will be almost identical port of the TD Ameritrade API. Futures trading may be added in the future (no pun intended). Quotes will work on day 1. As for the rest, we are actively working with Schwab on ironing out various issues. We do have the core stuff working. Should definitely have stuff out before May 10.
  9. Because all 3 of the ones you mentioned have Level I that is approximately 1 update per second - not even close to tick by tick data like dxFeed. Tradestation Level II however is fast updates.
  10. Fidelity doesn't have level 2, at least not in Mt, and Schwab level 2, once available, is really useless based on what I see so far. Tradestation however, has really good level 2. Based on what you have, you really only need level one. You can get very good level 2 data from tradestation. And I'm sure it'll be cheaper than 119 per month. So you can get just the level one from dxfeed
  11. for Level I quotes, you need: Consolidated US Equities Level 1 (NBBO) if you also need Level II, can get Nasdaq TotalView, EDGX or both
  12. in Simple mode, can just have text. If you switch to Advanced, then can set it to whatever you want including indicator values
  13. EEEEEKKKK We do not have customizable color sets for Level II. Best I can do is give you the XML file for defining the colors and you can customize it yourself. If you want it, email us (support...)
  14. initially will be stocks and options only. They indicated that futures will be looked at via API later, but right now the priority is to get the same API up and running.
  15. IB's default limit is 3 unless you pay them for more "buckets" of data
  16. 1 line happens if MT does not have Level II data for the symbol. In that case, it just shows the bid/ask from the Level I quote in the first line. Do you have more than 3 Level II windows with IB as the source, or have Level II also showing in TWS?
  17. Yes. you can use one source for Level I data (which is same as what charts use) and another for Level II. Not a problem.
  18. on the TRADING tab, TRADE SETTINGS, set it to show order types. You can have a limit order selected or a market order. Also, I assume you want Auto-Submit? you can turn it on every session. If you want it remembered, there is a setting on SETTINGS/ TRADING / SECURITY to enable saving it
  19. the columns you are seeing in the portfolio are for Manual Entry of positions. On the portfolio editor, you can enter the Price Paid and Quantity for each symbol, in which case those columns will be filled in. You can also drag/drop the rows from ACCOUNT VIEW/POSITIONS to the portfolio and MT will copy the corresponding QTY/PAID data. But it will not auto update. If you wish to have the auto updating stuff, then you would need to view it via the Account View/Positions window - you can add real-time columns in there too
  20. I checked - right now the separate security code is NOT supported. I would have to look to see if I can prompt for the code before processing the login.
  21. forget the login page window. on Dashboard, STATUS tab, is it showing faulted or green?
  22. the browser thing is supposed to be internal. you should NOT be entering any login there. Is your login failing? A window is only supposed to show if there is some actual 2FA requirement.
  23. SETTINGS / APPLICATION / GENERAL - Date & Numeric formats section.
  24. Sure. Open the alert editor On top left, click the ARROW on the ADD button and select FILL ALERTS. Select what you want there - you can pick accounts, or select buy, sell, etc.. In the notification area select that you want to be notified by sound NOTE: you will want to set the alert to auto clear after 10 sec or so. Otherwise, once triggered it will not trigger again unless you explicitly clear it.
