To be sure you're not using more than 100 symbols, connect MT to the IB API. If you have TWS open while using MT, every symbol count and add to those in MT ; portfolio, watchlist, scanner etc. Try connecting the with the API alone (or try creating new desktop in tws but leaving it it empty)

There is another possible combination, using quotemedia datafeed for 120 symbols (about 28 usd) and subscribing Trade Ideas (about 85 usd using a 25% discount coupon). This combination is perfect to have a complete scan of the market at all hours using Trade Ideas, and charting/trading with MT (Trade Ideas have a special feature to link their windows with MT windows, so its possible to select a symbol from one of their list and automatically load it in MT (using the fast quotemedia backfeed or even Webull which is free.) . For momentum traders is probably the best combination due to the fact that Trade Ideas scan all the market symbols, and MT dont need a big list/datafeed.

Neither Teletrader, they do not have premarket at all. Its Iqfeed the only who reset the day early (at 6 am if i remember). Quotemedia at 8 am. Of course the costs are higher. But there is a way to see in a list those stocks moving in premarket , using the alert system set to show volume last min > 0 . Not the ideal but efective and altmost free. (Btw, i'm using a very big list of symbols and its all ok)

Webull since a few days have their best lvl1 free (from 2,99 ) and lvl2 (totalview) at 2,99 usd from 27,99 usd. Its not fast as iqfeed, but its reliable anyway and for that price is a gift.

Hi Jerry; perhaps you can take a deeper look at Lenza and partner. They have special bundles for customers partners platforms at very convenient prices, as you can see in the example screenshot and with NO symbol limits. They dont have lvl2 right, but MT is multidatafeed, so its easy to get lvl2 from brokers and the rest with Taipan.

The problem for lvl2 with IB is that only Total view is usable, so if you plan to use lbl via IB api, subscribe only Total view. (If you use lvl 2 via TWS, the is ok because their windows aggreagate all lvl2 subscribable options )

Its possible to add filters to choice which alert see in each window? . So i can use one for each kind of alert instead of all alerts togheter like in the image (with a big list of symbols, alerts runs very fast if all togheter)..

Hi ! Its possible to add the volume filter (min volume per min) to the moving up/down % change alert? (as in the Volume %change alert) This is to avoid getting alerts from low liquid stocks. (I'm using a 1180 symbols list , using the Webull subscription datafeed (for only 10 usd). Thx!

I agree with that, its a must for an easier use.

No more discounts applied. Now they charge the full price. 123usd for 1200 symbols with nasdaq, amex and nyse. At this price is not feasible to use as a scan with a big datafeed, compared to Trade Ideas (about 80 /month , or tc2000 from 45usd). I think a feature similar to Ninjatrader market scan to filter gainers/losers , unusual volu etc is needed asap. With a feature like this , a 300 symbol datafeed should be enough to handle the entire market.

Thx 1 (the idea is to just have an alert when a sudden change in volume is happening, similar to the "volume burst" scan in Trade ideas).

Pattern detection could be a very good addition to the scanner. Ascending triangles, flags etc.

How can i make a scanner to see a volume burst , as example 400% plus than the prior candle ? its possible?

Currently testing the scanner with the 1200 symbols subscription. The results are fantastic. I made some videos (without sound) to show the scanner running. Considering the cost (with about 25% discount applied for the datafeed) , its even better than Trade Ideas in some ways.

Pls, if possible add those two buttons. And make bigger/bold the data over the quantity of shares . They are too little
