  1. Hello, I've been using TOS to feed data into Excel via RTD. Could Excel then be used as a data source for MT? This way we would not have to worry about symbol compatibility. Also additional data could be manually entered into Excel if not available from TOS. Obviously, backfill would not work but if one only needs OHLC or just Last quote then that would be just fine.
  2. Hello, I'm trying to get data for the following TOS symbols : $NYHGH AND $NYLOW. These are number of NYSE stocks making 1Y new highs and lows. My data source is TD Ameritrade. MT does not recognize the symbols. I tried $NYHGH.X but it does not work either. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
  3. Thanks a lot! By the way, I noticed MT $ADV and $DECL values do not match TDA values of $ADVN and $DECN exactly. Should I use different symbols? Also is there a MT custom symbol index list that I can access?
  4. Hi Jerry, Yesterday I switched from MT version 1.1.5000.0255 to a newer version (I believe 1.1.5400.0249). The data source is TD Ameritrade. In Amibroker RT Window I was getting the following values for $ADV, $DECL and $SPX.X: 1.00, 1.00, and 2.00 respectively. All three symbols had actual values in excess of 1000. The Medved Trader data was displayed correctly for all three symbols. I restarted the software but there was no change. Today morning after market open was the same issue. Finally I uninstalled MT and installed the prior MT version of 1.1.5000.0255. Now everything is working correctly. I use Amibroker version 6.00.2. Thank you.
