Looking for a symbol to chart spot gold in Medved using any of Yahoo Webull Stockwatch Tried these with Yahoo but no luck #XAUUSD XAUUSD=X %XAUUSD XAU.USD

Each day I need to backfill my yahoo sourced portfolio since there is data missing on the @ GC chart. Here are pre and post screen shots. I sent logs.

I'll give that a try. The trading group I am in uses telegram for their stock alerting system, I'll dig a bit and see how much work it is to setup. You meant Stock Twits right? If so wouldn't work as I already use it and get active alerts, to my knowledge can't have two instances of the app logged in on the phone.

Have you guys looked into alternatives to SMS? the problem with the SMS implementation (at least for me with freedom mobile- Canadian mobile provider) is that I get a new number the message comes from every message Medved sends which just destroys my sms inbox. Thoughts are something like pushbullet (I have used some other apps that use it) Other apps might be Twilo, Telegram, send bird. Not sure if the new windows android messaging integration has an api or not.

Adding more info for this (Just sent new logs). I entered a new symbol into a chart I hadn't used before TLT and got a slew of news articles. Within 1 minute I entered WORK which I haven't viewed in a while and got another slew of them most repeats. I see this a lot.

Can you make it adjustable in the settings for zigzag? I'd likely be good with 8pt but others may not, I use high resolution and really small fonts for windows.

Meant the on chart displayed values.

For the Zigzag indicator, what do I need to do to increase the font size of the high and low values?

Didn't try yet, will let ya know if I have issues. If Day is the only option for Market that makes sense. For the Special instructions I checked my order/execution history and market orders can have sp inst set, eg Anon.

Got the update. but the 2 boxes (TIF & Sp.Inst) are still grayed out when I set it to market order and TIF still shows Day+Ext.

Couple boxes get grayed out when setting to market order in Medved. (TIF and Sp.inst) Questrade shows the options for both Market and Limt in their trade window in iQEdge( all 6 in the pic below) Sent logs as if I had a DAY+EXT limit order set and then change to market the TIF box gets grayed out and the order fails since it's still set to DAY+EXT which isn't valid for Market order. Sp inst also are all available in the Questrade IQEdge trade window for both Limit and Market orders

Nice to have would be a way to find which portfolios a stock is in. Reasons: 1) To Find duplicates across multiple portfolios. I assume this is a bad thing if two portfolios were using different sources and the same symbol was in both. Another option would be to have medved create an alert if this ever occurs. 2) To find which portfolio a symbol is in. Just noticed this can kind of be done already as if you get an alert you can click port and the portfolio will open.

Can you add Freedom mobile to the sms alerts list please. If your using email to text the format is - number@txt.freedommobile.ca

BTW I have noticed that quite often when I go to enter a new symbol into a chart window (not sure if it's just ones I haven't viewed in a while, I think they are usually in portfolio) I get a flood of news articles. Not sure if it's just coincidence or if it's related since during these news floods I see a lot of repeats.

Sent logs. bunch of examples in the pics I am attaching for alerts. I looked at AUP:CA as an example. Same article 10:47 and 10:19. Only 1 news article for today in the News list.

Ya it is still there. Did they ever get back to you about the login issues? If not I'll follow up i have a ticket.

Also noticed that after a restart of Medved, Medved didn't show the queued order anymore under transactions. Not sure if this is expected or not. Ideally any queued/open orders would be reloaded after a restart.

Gotcha. So expected error.

I get that, but the order went to queued in Questrade and is pending for tomorrow. Shouldn't the order be queued in Medved? I acutally didn't look to see if it was sucessfully pending in Questrade, just noticed the pop up I posted above. Just did it again and I see it as received in Medved even though the error pop up came up again.

Hit flatten on a current position after hours, order shows queued in Questrade but Medved showed a failure message. Will send logs now.

Thinking it would be useful to be able to create an alert notification that tells you if a source goes offline, relogs in or is stuck in a specific state like logging in. Occasionally I find a source hung up but don't realize it till I go to the sources tab in the dashboard.

Should 3 touch trend lines be displaying so many lines on top of each other? (Note: Using 0.25 min) Freq.
