  1. Jerry, what's your drop-dead date for getting the details of the Schwab API so that people migrating in the last group (weekend of May 10th) can be confident that MT will still be working with TD/Schwab Monday morning May 13th?
  2. Is there any way to get Bitcoin data (e.g. #btc.usd) using IBKR as the data source? In IBKR TWS I am getting BTC quotes so the data is there
  3. Noticed that I was having issues logging into Fidelity, saw this thread, updated to latest beta and I'm back to being logged in again Thanks!
  4. Thanks Jerry, I assume an MT restart would fix it but I'm going to wait until market close before I try that. If I still have an issue after that I will send the logs. Not sure if your post has a typo or if you used the wrong symbol but its NRGX (PIMCO Energy and Tactical Credit Opportunities Fund) not NRGZX Looks like the last update was 3 hours ago so now neither is updating in MT:
  5. The closed end fund ticker NRGX became PDX as of the start of trading today. I have both symbols in an MT watchlist and NRGX shows the current data for today and PDX displays nothing - IBKR is my data source for this MT window. If I enter the symbols into TWS (IBKR), NRGX isn't recognized as a valid symbol anymore and PDX displays the current data as expected If IBKR is the data source and IBKR recognizes the new ticker (PDX) then what is happening that is keeping MT working with the old ticker (NRGX)?
  6. Wow, that was easy. Thanks as always!
  7. Is there an easy way to convert an existing simple portfolio to a watchlist instead? I'm guessing the answer is no and that I just need to recreate them as watchlists but I thought I would double-check first. Also, along the same lines, is there an easy way to export the current list of symbols in a portfolio Thanks!
  8. It didn't work at all, the new app is very simplistic, under settings the only option was color settings as compared to the hundreds of things you can configure in TWS (including the various API settings that I was looking for) On the plus side installing it did not appear to impact the existing TWS software in any way so they appear to be completely independent (albeit you can only run one or the other with the same username at the same time) Hopefully this new offering is something for inexperienced customers and not the new direction that IBKR is going, I might play around with it more during off hours to see if there is more than initially appeared.
  9. I like your style, installing it now Version 0.01, LOL
  10. Just got an email from IBKR about a new version of their trading app (see below) - before I try it I want to know if it has been tested at all with MT or if I should just steer clear for now.
  11. Got it - thanks as always for the lightning fast response!
  12. Want to know if its possible to enter a trade like this: Limit sell ABC, once that executes I want a market buy order for XYZ entered/executed automatically When I look at the Trade Ticket, Add Conditional Order Leg, they all seem to assume that the conditional order is the same symbol as the primary order - is there any way to work around this?
  13. Ok, thanks....I'll nuke the delayed portfolio, its not that important anyway
  14. More information that may be related, I have another portfolio that is using delayed data (Yahoo Finance) as the source that also includes these same CEF symbols - could that be causing some sort of interference with the portfolio shown in the earlier screenshots that uses IB as the data source? The reason this second portfolio uses delayed quotes is because I only use it for end-of-day quotes on closed end fund NAV values and for some reason Yahoo has these values (CEF NAV) where IB does not
