That didn't seem to make any difference. It's still not streaming. If it helps, there's two lines for Questrade in the Dashboard sources tab. The first one just says Questrade and it has Bwth of 28.1K and fluctuates. Questrade: Individual shows Bwth of 0. Maybe something is wrong with my feed? I thought it was free now. Thanks

Hello, Since about 2 MT updates ago, I've been having trouble getting my data feed from Questrade. Usually I have to log into Questrade every day and then it's fine. Now I have to log into it, shut down MT and leave it down for 5 minutes or so and then start it again to get the feed to work. Other times I just have to stop the feed and start it again to get the streaming going. But it will happen at least a couple times a day and I have to play around with MT to get the feed going again. Did something change with MT 2 updates ago regarding Questrade's feed? Did something change with MT? I know Questrade is not super reliable at the best of times but this is unusual. Thanks

I've never had much luck with that but last time I tried calling was a long time ago. Hopefully their support has improved. By what you're saying, the new free feed should work with MT. I'll try to call them tomorrow and confirm. Thanks for your help.

I looks like they automatically changed my account for me but changed it to an options feed or something. I asked them about it but they didn't answer. The problem with just trying it, as you said, it goes by the month so if I change or cancel a feed I won't know if it changes anything until Sept 1 and then if it's wrong and I change it back, I won't have a feed for that month. At least that's the way I understand it working with them. Thanks

Questrade changed their market data pricing. Is live streaming quotes for US and Canadian stocks now free from Questrade via Medved Trader? I tried to get help from Questrade but that never works well. It specifies 'available on Edge platforms' but I'm not sure if that includes things like Medved. Thanks What’s new? I did a restore. I forgot that I could pick the specific items I wanted to restore after starting the process. I was worried it was going to restore something I didn't want changed. It's all back the way it should be now. Don't know what I did to mess it up but I'm sure grateful for the backup/restore process. Thanks for the help.

Good morning, I have a portfolio that I enter in all my buys and sells so I can monitor those tickers. This morning, that portfolio is missing one of the tickers. I had several trades consolidated for that ticker in that portfolio. Why would that one ticker be gone today? If I restore a backup, might that resolve this or will that possibly make things worse and I should just re-enter all the trades for that ticker? Thanks

I put in a Good Til Cancelled order yesterday. It showed up in MT in the accounts pane under the symbol with the order. But today, that is not there. The order is still active. I logged into Questrade website and can see it there and I logged into IQ Edge and can see it there too. Is there something I need to do in MT to make open orders show? Thanks

Hi, My Questrade streaming quotes are not working today. Sources in the Dashboard says it's streaming, I forced it to re-login, the green icon is flashing, I've shut down MT and restarted it but still no streaming quotes. Is there anything you know about that is causing this today? I'm guessing it's a Questrade issue but I thought I'd check. Never mind. Didn't realize the US markets were closed today too.

I have charts linked with a pin in my setup. I also have a portfolio setup and I've put in my buy prices etc and I've put the Total row on it. When I click the pin on the Totals row, it shows me an intraday chart of that portfolio, which is nice. But it doesn't show me a historical chart. Is that by design? Thanks

Ok. It only appeared there when I loaded those other layouts and then it didn't go away afterwards. Now that I know what it is, I'll likely leave it that way. Thanks

Yesterday I was messing around looking at different layouts. I went into Layout Library and tried out the 3 that are there. I chose the Crypto layout and then went back to my saved layout but everything in my saved layout was all messed up. I had to go back in the Library and pick one of the other two layouts (not the Crypto one) and got my saved layout back to almost normal. Shutting down MT and restarting it then applying my saved layout got everything back to the way it was. Except one thing. It's nothing that important, I just don't know what it is or how it got there or how to get rid of it. There is different shading or something in the Last price column. What is that? Thanks

This actually helped. The steps are a little different so I missed it the first couple of times I tried. I had to click on my name and then on Settings and then click Manage beside My Trusted Devices and then click on Remove All. Pretty much the same as you said but I missed it. Anyway, once I did that, I have not had to log into Questrade from MT since. Thanks!

As far as I know, nothing else is running that's connected to Questrade. MT runs on a separate pc which doesn't mean something wasn't connected on another pc. It's possible that a reboot of one or both pc's cleared the problem without me knowing it and it was just a coincidence that I registered at that time too. Now I have to authenticate to Questrade almost every morning but that seems acceptable to me since most secure apps timeout and require you to logon after a certain amount of time. Thanks for looking into it. Everything seems good now.

I have not had to re-authenticate since I registered MT. Usually when I sit down at my computer in the morning (MT running all night) I have to authenticate to Questrade. This morning is the first morning I have not had to do that since installing it. So it looks like it's resolved. I guess I shouldn't have procrastinated about registering for so long.

Jerry, Two things. There was an error in MT earlier today but I closed that window too quick and don't remember what it was. It will likely show in the logs I sent. But I don't think that had anything to do with my re-authenticating issue I mentioned because that has been going on since day one. Second thing is that I was using the trial. That shouldn't cause the issue either since it is unrestricted. But I registered QT today so if it did have anything to do with it, registering should take care of it.

Thanks Kasper, I will keep that in mind. I set this up less than a month ago so this shouldn't be the solution but who know with Questrade. I've heard it's almost impossible to connect with Questrade support now so hopefully I don't have to call them!

I am only logging into MT and not anything else and it still happens multiple times throughout the day. I get the "Log in to Questrade" window followed by the "Authorization Requested" window. Sometimes I just get the "Authorization Requested" window. It sounds like its a Questrade problem and not MT. I was hoping there was a way around it but if not, I'll just have to keep re authenticating. Thanks

Hello, I'm using Questrade for data feed and I have it set up for trading. I'm only using MT (ie. I'm not logged into the Questrade website or platform at the same time). Several times throughout the day I have to login/authenticate to Questrade. Is there a way to fix this or it's just the way it is? Thanks
