I've also checked Trader data and trading settings for both accounts and they are identical (apart from IB account-specific stuff)

I'm using Gateway rather than TWS and that is showing Trader as connected and it's also sending data OK to other apps I have connected at teh same time. (I have also checked for possible clash of Client IDs and there aren't any.) The two accounts are completely seaprate (each is for a different legal entity) and both live accounts

I'm running version 1.1.9900.102 of Trader on two separate VMs one for each IB account I have. Trader is running fine on one VM, but on the other live prices are not coming through even though the Sources tab has Streaming against a green background in both rows in the State column. However, the Bwth column has a value of 0 on the VM where Trader is not updating data. Anything I should be checking for? Thx

Really strange - just logged out and in again and it's all suddenly started working.

v1.1.9900.102 State is green and Streaming on both rows of the Sources tab.

For most symbols I now get a blank DOM display with just a gray panel where the DOM ladder should be. Examples include EMB, GLD, IEF, VGLT, VEA, VTI and VWO - so not obscure stuff. I'm running the latest version of Trader. Running 981.3n version of IB Gateway Also - there are no prices/values displayed for these symbols in account view as well. In fact IBIS stocks (Germany) are the only ones where DOM and Account View show values. Thx

Is implementing CFDs a complete non-starter for IB? With my automated trading (using Zorro) I can trade/view them no problem - I just send a slightly different string to the Gateway. For instance: For a European CFD like SOLB (Solvay) I append "*-STKCFD-SMART/-EUR" ...whereas for a European stock, like KPN (Koninklijke) it's "*-STK-SMART/AEB-EUR" I trade a mix of EUR stocks and CFDs as a pairs portfolio and use the CFDs where the country concerned has a Financial Transaction Tax. Even being able to see my CFD positions in Account View would be a nice start. (Save me having heart failure when I suddenly think my pairs trades have turned into outrights because I can't see the CFDs.) Thx

Thx. That's interesting. Yes I'm with IB, but I'm not getting any data. The symbols were auto populated (the shares weren't bought they were transferred in from another broker) does the sample one VEUR:LSEETF look consistent with Trader's symbol structure? I was thinking the "ETF" at the end might not be needed.

Can Trader use delayed data in the Positions window? I have some UK ETFs in the portfolio and while they appear in the list only the purchase price and quantity show. A sample symbol that has been auto populated in the Symbols column is VEUR:LSEETF Thx
