Suddenly MT does not seem to connect to Questrade. The pop-up window to connect to Questrade pops up and I click allow however MT says "Account Validation failed to connect". I also tried deleting the browser cache folder to allow me to re-enter credentials but still no luck. I have sent the log files through MT over to support.

Hi Jerry, I noted the order IDs that had delays when trading with Questrade today and sent you the log file along with the order IDs. I am hoping this can be resolved. Please let me know if there are any other details needed from me.

Additional image below that shows a few more data points came in over the next 10minutes after failing and all indicating a time 5 hours later.

I just tested without subminute charts and it still happens. I also noticed in the raw data that the last data point is always showing up as 5 hours later. See screenshots below. Dxfeed was the source for these. Once it has stopped updating chart and raw data it does not resume on its own, I have to clear and backfill to get going again. I tried enabling spike filtering and set max time difference to 30 seconds but it still stops. I sent over logs of this as well.

When placing orders or cancelling orders there is sometimes a few second delay. I have used MT with questrade and paper trading through IB and both had the delays occasionally. At first I thought the orders were being delayed for risk review at the broker but I then noticed that they aren't even showing up in the open trades list during this time. Then a few seconds later they suddenly execute. I would estimate this is happening about 5 times a day when I would place 50-100 trades Quick execution is critical for me.

I noticed the option in settings to disable the anti-aliasing in the charts and has made it work great! Additionally I didn't noticed any downside to how the charts looked with this feature off, so it is all good. I guess I should looked through the options more carefully much earlier in the process!

I am frequently having and issue where the chart and raw data stop updating. It sometimes goes for many minutes before this happens and sometimes it might be 10 seconds. When this happens I am able to get things running again by pressing clear all data in the chart and then pressing backfill which takes a bit of time and of course it can happen at bad times. After recovering as described above it may run again for many minutes or may stop in 10 seconds after which I repeat the process to recover. I tried both questrade and dxfeed as the data source and both had the issue.

Within MT I only see 3 routing options for IB which are SMART, Island and ARCA. IB offers many other options which I would like to use to benefit from ECN rebates. Is there a way to get the additional items to be available within MT such as EDGX, EDGA, BATS?

I am using MT with both IB and Questrade. I use 5 second charts (0.083 mins) and I have found that using sub minute charts appears to significantly impact performance of the chart itself and order execution. For example I have both 5 second and 30 minute charts open at the same time and if I have the 5 second chart as the active window and press the order 1 share at ask + 0.1 five times it executes very slowly. If I make the 30 minute chart the active window the orders execute much faster. I have tried with different chart performance settings and also tried on a brand new high performance PC and it does not seem to have much impact if any at all. On the higher performance PC is has both a powerful CPU and graphics card (ryzen 7, 5700x and Nvidia 3060 ti), I also have monitored CPU and GPU usage and they are typically well below 30%. There seems to be a performance issue with zooming and panning on the sub minute charts as well. One additional observation is that if you use 0.083 mins rather than 0.08333 mins you get better performance. So in other words if I go to 0.08333 mins then the performance is really low. Same thing seems to be true for 1 second charts (0.016 vs 0.01667).
