  1. Jerry, I plugged in Beta 1.1.2092.0259 the other day. Startup worked as expected the first day, but reverted back since. Regards, Jim Arnold
  2. Sorry, you must have looked at my post immediately after i submitted. I edited it with symbols.
  3. As I said, it does not occur all the time. Right now, 7:58 CDT, I am not getting "last" or "prv cls". I am looking at 3 funds: PRHSX, LZEMX and JGLTX.
  4. The "last" column in portfolios is blank part of the time for mutual funds which is required to calculate percentage change. It may be a data feed problem, I don't know. Windows 7 64bit pro TDA source data
  5. Very minor bug: When "Require password on startup" is selected and the startup screen is displayed, the cursor is blinking on the line used to input one's password. That normally indicates readiness to receive input from the keyboard. However, that is not the case. The user has to place the mouse cursor over the box and left click first. Windows 7 64 bit pro
  6. Once an account is selected when enabling trade from charts, that account is default until changed - including after disabling trade from charts. So, if you right click/trade symbol from a chart a trade ticket will be generated with that same account selected. If I change the account on that ticket and then right click/trade symbol from the chart again, another new trade ticket will be generated ... So, I can't get the functionality desired trading from charts unless I preset the account. Once again though, that is not a big deal to me since you enabled me to do what I want from portfolios.
  7. Jerry, Thanks a lot. It works great. You might want to highlight this very useful feature. It took me a long time before I stumbled across it in QT.
  8. Jerry, Yes, it works like I expected, i.e. if account A is currently on the trade ticket, I can change it to account C and then initiate a trade from a portfolio, complete with automatic share quantity, for account C. However, I can't use charts in the same manner - they still default to the last setting for accounts even though "trading from charts" is not selected. But I can live with that. Thanks a lot, Jim
  9. It would be most appreciated.
  10. I probably assumed default to be the problem because I did not see it before I made the change. I still don't know why it would not be good to be able turn it off, however. I almost always want to use the transaction value dollar amount to calculate share value when buying stocks. That requires right click/trade. It is frustrating that I can not simply change the account in a trade ticket and then proceed to right click/trade on a portfolio or a chart and the account not revert back to whatever account started the trade ticket or to a default. What good is it to be able to change the account otherwise? When something happens quickly, I want to execute a trade in a hurry (doesn't everyone?). Getting to the right account should be easy and intuitive.
  11. I checked default on one of my three TDA accounts and now I can't initiate a trade from a portfolio under any other account. On the other hand, I can do so from a chart. If that is the way default is supposed the work, so be it. The real problem is I can't undo the selection to have none of the accounts as default. I even deleted the account and re-entered it - the default check mark came back automatically.
  12. I normally have 17 charts open. I update chart periods several times daily by changing one then syncing the rest to the one changed. The initial version (when I signed up late August 2016) worked as it should. When I installed the latest version, not all the charts update, however, syncing a second time updates the rest.
  13. I can't find how to include a file attachment to forum posts. I would think there should be a radio button included in the ribbon for this message just like in a regular email. The "insert other media" does not take me to my files.
  14. The cells in the "LAST" column of watchlists are oddly colored light green/light tan or, seldom, uncolored (white). I am using Windows 7 64 bit pro. I don't know how to find the version of MT I am using but it is up to date as of 9/12/16. The problem was on the last version as well (the one I started MT with). I would attach an image if I knew how ...
  15. Request the functionality of QT for calculating gain/loss percent with price and zero quantity within a watchlist. Money gain/loss would still be $0. This was handy in QT for watching a stock over time from a certain start price without effecting real gain/loss totals or dollar amounts for stocks owned.
