Sorry, still doesnt seem to be working. I dont get the interleaved two color line when I drag the mouse across the chart with alert line selected in draw.

All of the sudden I cant draw alert trendlines on a chart. Previous ones I've created are still there but I cant drag and draw a new one. AlertLine is still selected under the draw pull down. Also once another draw instruction is selected it wont go back to the alert line selection. I'm using latest Beta

I did MT update for Fidelity but my position view still only shows 1 or two symbols of my account of 15 ?

Now that we can put audio messages on our alerts it would be nice that when I draw an alert line on a chart I could quickly choose one of a handful of alerts that I have previously created so that I can instantly set that alert. Such as "(Symbol) stop loss", "(Symbol) buy", etc. I would envision being able to do a shift key and drag an alert line then when the mouse button is released a box pops up allowing me to choose on of my pre canned alerts. The box popping up or not would be selectable and all the creating of the custom canned alerts would be taken care of in the Alert Line parameter setting box that exists now. regards, Rob

Is it possible in MT to increase the font size of the Quick Access toolbar and order type line at the top of the chart? With my new displays that are capable of 2560x1440 resolution the font at the top of the charts just becomes too tiny/uncomfortable for me to see at a quick glance. (I'm getting old!) I can adjust everything else in the charts and watchlist columns to my liking but the Quick Access Tool bar, order type line and also the ribbons at the top of watchlists stay small. If I decrease the resolution of my monitors to 1920 x1080 everything's fine but I miss out on being able to squeeze in additional indicators etc. thanks and regards, Rob

On the latest beta the new "ADDED - ALERTS - Ability to include SSML markup for Text to Speech" doesn't seem to work anymore like the version you emailed me. When I add <break time="3s" /> the message or placeholder isn't spoken

Really like getting speech messages for alert. Any way to add "time delay" placeholders to be chosen and inserted of 1,2,3,4 second delays etc? Reason being it would be nice to get the general notification alert sound you have specified on the notifications page then after that plays for x seconds then you hear your speech note spoken. I.E., Ring, Ring, Ring, "QQQ Sell Stop" regards, Rob

Hi Mike, I'm getting the following alert window "The given key was not present in the dictionary" in MT when running the price volume spike scan that you created for ARG in this "Help with price/volume spike scan" discussion. Is there a way to enable MT to save previous day/days chart trading fill arrows for buys and sells ? That way you can go back to previous days on a stock and see instantly where you bought and sold. If not could this option be added to the Trading Settings and with the option to pick the number of days to save? Thanks, Rob

Was trying to recreate a scan like in the following post but in the simple editor the greater than and less than functions seem to work opposite and counter intuitive but in advance mode they seem to make sense. From the previous "Heiken Ashi Red to Green Scan Help" post it seems intuitive that for detecting a red bar the simple code would be "if(Close (5) < Open 5 return - but it seems to work the opposite as shown by Mike below but seems to work when I type it in this way: urn - But in advance mode his code makes sense where the Close < Open (5). Am I missing something?:

also while I'm at it the sub categories work a little funky if I want a portfolio of all sub categories (no symbols by themselves). That is I've found that I have to put a fake symbol "****" as the first item in a portfolio to be able to then add a bunch of --- sub categories to the portfolio. Otherwise the top sub category seems to disappear as sub categories are added under it.

When putting sub categories in a portfolio for example (--- Energy) the expansion/contraction triangle to the left of the sub category seems to work differently than normal expansion/contraction functionality I use on most other programs. When I click on the triangle to the left of sub category "Energy" the sub category above it contracts but all the symbols in "Energy" stay expanded. I would have to go the the next sub category below "Energy" and click that triangle to get "Energy" to contract. Not a big deal but this functionality seems a little counter intuitive.
