  1. One of the best features from your prior product Quotetracker was the text/email functionality on trendline alert triggers. It freed up a lot on screen watch time. Is there a plan to bring that functionality to this product?
  2. Typically, continuous charts are adjusted to have no rollover breaks - that's what makes them continuous. I've never had an issue until recently when TDA didn't adjust a couple of times- 1st time I noticed was the Dec 22/Mar 23 rollover. The Mar 23/June 23 rollover was adjusted fine, but the problem cam back with the June 23/Sept 23 rollover. Good idea on using split adjust to make the correction manually. That fixed the issue.
  3. TD Ameritrade has a data problem again. ES/MES futures contracts rolled over last week and normally they adjust the prior data to form a continuous chart with the new contract. They didn't do that for this round and the new data is discontinuous from past contracts data. I'm hoping this is an unintentional error on their part that they will be willing to correct if notified.
  4. I'm surprised TDAmeritrade has not yet discovered/resolved the data discrepancy. They have the March 23 ES futures contract starting on Sunday, 12/11, but all prior days are still the Dec 22 contract, which is why there's a gap on the Sunday open. Interactive Brokers data, @ESH23, shows the data correctly with no gap.
  5. I'm looking at the continuous contract data for futures MES and ES, using TDAmeritrade Data. I'm not sure if it's a SW or data feed issue: The chart data still has Dec 22 continuous, but today's data is showing Mar 23 contract data, causing a break in continuity. The chart has the background label as Mar 23 continuous. I tried clearing out 2 days of data, and when it reloads, the discrepancy between Dec 22 and Mar 23 data is still there but the background label identifying the chart no longer appears.
  6. There doesn't appear to be a start date for changing one's pricing plan. If I sign up now, I'm assuming the charging will start on Nov 1st rather than cutting into this final week?
  7. The data screens for ES have stopped receiving data from my sources (IB/ThinkorSwim). The cutoff time was at 10AM PST. It appears the systems thinks today is operating under holiday/half day hours.
  8. What I'm seeing is for some reason, Friday saved data doesn't show the extended session and ends at 13:15PDT. The other days show the extended session and only Fridays are truncated. I've checked my past data and it appears every Friday has data stopped at 13:15PDT rather than 14:00PDT. I use IB and Ameritrade as my datafeeds for the quarterly and continuous ES/Index Futures contracts and the Friday extended session truncation shows with both data sets.
  9. Thanks! Will the correction be in effect just going forward, or will clearing past data result in a correct refill?
  10. I noticed for some reason the Friday 7/12 trading session for the future index funds I listed ended at 13:15PDT, and does not have the 2nd remaining session of 13:30PDT-14:00PDT. I tried clearing the data, but it refills the same way. I waited until the Sunday Globex session started to see if that would make a difference, but it hasn't.
  11. Will the symbology for the Micro E-Mini's be as simple as adding an "m" in front of the E-mini symbol? For example, will @ESM19 be altered to @MESM19 for its Micro E-mini counterpart? Thanks!
  12. I needed to hard restart my system, and when I brought MT back up - received the following error message today. Error not see on restart of MT. Logs sent.
  13. I've observed an interesting phenomenon and wanted to share: When shutting down MT with auto backup (all including data), or just employing backup, it can take a few minuted to complete as all the data is saved to a backup file. However, there have been times when I've had to initiate a system wide shut down or restart (Win 7) while MT was running and without initiating a shutdown on MT. What happens in these cases is MT goes through the shutdown process almost instantaneously - it's as if the normal shutdown process is greatly sped up. No new backup file is created, but there is also no lost data upon restarting MT. I've noticed this every time I did a system initiated reset/shutdown with MT running - almost immediate shutdown with no lag and no data loss on restart.
  14. I've noticed when you have trend lines drawn that are extended out several days, then zoom in on intraday to within just a couple hours in view or so, in you move a trend line during this time, the trend line will be truncated/shortened, losing all the extended days it was drawn to fit in just the daily window.
  15. I've been opening/exiting and reopening several times today and so far so good - it's saving my settings and not reverting back to the initial start sequence. I will forward the log if/when it happens again. As an aside, I notice the time it takes to save the data is now shorter and it also takes up less drive space. Nice!
  16. There is a problem when I start up the program. Sometimes it starts with no issues, and other times it goes into "initial start mode" where it asks for my brokerage login data, give's me "first time" notifications, and I have to complete the license agreement window and generate a sample portfolio. When this happens the dashboard settings have also been reset to default values with my prior settings erased. An example would be I choose 120 days on chart data, backups include quote/window data on exit, save on close, 11 max backups. When I saved and reopened the file, the settings were intact and everything proceeded as expected. I saved and when I opened the file again later I got the initial start mode with logins/authorization required and the settings now reverted back to 60 days chart data, backups on start that don't include quote/window data, 10 max backups. Once I reapply the settings, I can see all the data. I'm not sure if there is a pattern to when settings persist or not. Will explore more on Sunday to see if there is one.
  17. Update: Can now see all my data on the new version. Perhaps it takes an extended time for the program to be validated to the Ally account?
  18. I'm trying to restore my system to the prior version, but I'm now getting the following error (see attached). Could you please make the full prior version available for download? Thanks!
  19. I received notice tonight that a new update version was available for download, so I clicked to accept the upgrade. When the program updated/restarted, I noticed the following issues: 1) Not all settings were transferred from the last version. I have my backup setting to include quote data and to backup on exit. The settings had changed to default- backup on start and not including quote data. I'm being asked to relogin to my data and brokerage accounts. Program is stating it's seeing brokerage data accounts for the first time and asking if I want to configure. 2) I'm not able to see my entire previously saved quote data. I only see about 10 days of data rather that the full set of maximum data I had accumulated for futures. There's a licensing agreement window I check through. I then use import/restore on a saved dataset to see if that will work to restore my data. When the program restarts, it puts be back at square one with being required to log into my Tradeking(Ally) account again and my other brokerage account, followed by "first time log in" messages and request for configuration options. The data is still limited to just a few days and not showing the full data set. I tried saving the account and reopening and that didn't bring me back to having to login again, but the data was still missing. I tried one more backup and it brought me back to default initial login screens again.
  20. I saw the continuous MT symbols for Ameritrade. Are there symbols for IB as well?
  21. I see. I do definitely appreciate the expanded data viewing MT offers. Thanks! I think it would be a great feature if you added the ability to archive/view historical data - notably futures data, which is hard to come by without subscribing to a data service. One of the things I really liked about Quotetracker was being able to call up contracts/chart data from several years in the past. It makes it easy to visually compare/analyze past and current market behavior. I guess one can still do this with MT in a roundabout way if they save off a data file, then use it as a backup restore at a future time without connecting to a data source so MT won't update- but that would also mean having to do another restore with current backup data when done reviewing.
  22. Forgive me if this question has already been answered- I was checking my futures portfolio from last year - and noticed that futures contracts don't show any data except for the Z contract. For example, I'm looking at ES, and H,M, and U contracts are blank charts with no data. With Quotetracker, the data for my past contracts persisted so I could call up historical contracts to review. Does Medved Trader operate differently?
  23. Bitcoin futures are now being carried by IB: Underlying: GXBT, symbol:XBT, Exchange: CFECRYPTO I was trying to enter the symbol in a portfolio- using: @XBF18:CFECRYPTO, but am not receiving any data. Is this the correct format? Thanks!
