  1. Hi all. I want to create a continuous scanner for the breakout of the previous 1min candle low In TD Ameritrade ThinkorSwim i have created this: #Wizard text: Current bar's #Wizard input: price1 #Wizard text: gaps #Wizard input: percentage #Wizard text: % or more above the previous #Wizard input: price2 input price1 = close; input percentage = 2.0; input price2 = low; def x = 1 + percentage / 100; def term = x * price2[1]; plot scan = price1 > term; In Medved Trader i have tried: public void MainCalculation() { if (Close > Low[1]*1.02) { SetColorAndShape("Brakeout", PBShape.ArrowNE, 0xFF00C50C); TriggerAlert("Brakeout"); SetScanResult("Brakeout"); return; } It does not seem to work because i need to create a variable X , where X = Low[1] * 1.02 // >2% procent of the previous 1min candle low // The problem is that it does not let me define this variable Therefore after it will be simple as i can do if(Close > X) {....}
  2. Jerry, What I love about MT, what I welcome the most as to MT, what I'm most grateful for in MT is the significantly increased number of days as to intraday market data. However, believe it or not, the new 120-day limitation is an annoyance to me. In other words, I wish I didn't have to face that 120-day limitation..
  3. I am having trouble ensuring consistency across intraday charts when showing extended hours trades. The amount of data varies depending on how active a particular stock is in extended hours. That makes the time period shown in EH vary by stock. Example below: charts of GDXJ and GLD show Ext.Hrs for current day, and GDXJ starts at 05:54 while GLD starts at 05:27, so the time axes do not line up. Is there any way in MT to specify fixed period(s) for extended hours (i.e. 06:00-09:30 and 16:00-17:00) so that the same time frames are shown no matter what symbol is selected ? If this is not currently possible, would you please add it as a feature request ? Thanks.
