  1. IB TWS only shows filled transactions less than 7 days old, and so MT does the same thing using IB API. Is there a way for MT to shows filled transactions older than 7 days on charts from IB?
  2. Jerry, I know you responded to this already with a negative but I wanted to post this in the proper forum for feature requests since it would be much harder to find buried in the support forum in case you're ever willing to reconsider. Ideally I would be able to select IBALGO Adaptive as the Default Route under Order Settings and there would a drop down menu selection box for either "Patient", "Normal", or "Urgent". Then in the order ticket window IBALGO would be selectable from the drop down list including SMART, et. al. For IB at least straight MKT orders can produce terrible fills. Often when I am trading I can be dealing with a considerable spread in a market where the price action isn't moving too quickly. The adaptive algorithm spends slightly more time trying to execute the order at a better price point within the spread whereas with the straight MKT order IB can send the order to execute right on the bid for a short or right on the ask for the long. Even if I make, say, $600 on the trade $50 or $100 lost in slippage is brutal. Thanks for your responsiveness with all the issues/questions I've had.
  3. Could somebody help me what are the CFD (contracts for difference) symbols/prefixes for Interactive Brokers' feed? Thanks in advance, Alexander
  4. Interactive Brokers is ending the "US Securities & Futures Value Bundle for Non-Professionals" on March 1st: http://ibkb.interactivebrokers.com/article/2830 It will be replaced by "US Securities Snapshot & Futures value Bundle for Non Professionals" which will now only provide "snapshot" quotes for NYSE,AMEX, and NASDAQ data rather than RT quote stream as before. One will have to subscribe separately to NYSE,AMEX,and NASDAQ to receive their RT stream quote feeds at additional cost of $1.50 each. Since Medved Trader uses "smart quotes" which is non source specific, if one is trading stocks using MT's charts rather than IB's, and has sign ups with other brokerage accounts such as Trade King, Ameritrade, etc.., MT charting of stock data should be unaffected with just having IB's snapshot data feed package since MT will get the RT stream stock quotes from the other available sources while just getting the futures stream data from IB? I hope my question isn't too convoluted. =) Thanks!
  5. After a couple of hours of inactivity, MT says the data from IB has stopped. TWS tries to reconnect on it's own, to no avail. Anyone else noticed this? Only happened once while I had a trade open, but was shortly after other activity.
  6. Just put up a first version of the setup instructions page for IB: https://www.medvedtrader.com/ib
