alextrik
Hi, I am having problems showing ASX News when I have the ASX selected in the Data Sources/News feed. This was working fine before Medved did an update to the program. Also I have selected $ASX in the Indexes to show the Australian Share market index, but instead this is showing the ASX stock code of the share instead and not the Index. Jerry Medved
ASX is no longer supported as a source. It will be removed with the next update. As for the symbol $ASX in the index panel, which source are you using there?
alextrik
So we can't get any company News from the ASK any longer? .... will you have a replacement for ASX News? As for the Source .... I click in Indexes on the Tab, Select Available Indexes button and the only one that appears for me is $ASX
Jerry Medved
You can use Yahoo or Google for news. Indices - the combo box selection for the source is on the far left - to the left of the "Select Indexes" button.
alextrik
Here is a Screen print of the system Jerry so you can see what I mean. I cant see a Combo box anywhere. I pressed select Indexes and $ASX shows up as my only Indices option.
Jerry Medved
in your picture, you have the index panel set to CommSec as the source - left side there, just below the refresh button. Seems that I did not setup a built in list of supported index symbols for Commsec. Will look
Jerry Medved
do you know which index symbols Commsec supports?
alextrik
I dont know what Index Symbols Commsec supports but if you tell me where to look I can find it. I also have access to ANZ Share Trading Australia and BELL Direct Australia is needed... but when I tried them they also could not show me the ASX Index.
