MT not running after update

Recommended Posts

A box popped up saying I would have to manually install the new version of MT. I downloaded the update and it would pause several times when installing. After about 20 minutes it finally finished but nothing happens when I try to start it. I am running the latest version of Windows 10 and don't have problems with any other software I am using. I can't send a log file since I can't get into the program. I tried installing the program in safe mode with the same results.

1) reboot Windows

2) run the install

you said that it pauses several times while installing - is it doing that after reboot? If so, it is most likely your security software. Which software are you using?
