kalmen
How do I change the DATA source for crypto only? I use Ameritrade as my data source but when I change to the Coinbase Pro data source, the stock quotes in the portfolio do not update. I only follow these 4 cryptos THX! Jerry Medved
create a 2nd portfolio for the crypto currencies. Open the 2nd portfolio in a separate portfolio window and change that window's source to Coinbase
kalmen
OK, but It I had BOTH CRYPTO & STOCKS in the same portfolio in the past and thought each position could been assigned a data source independently in the same portfolio...........It was convenient to have them all in one portfolio........but if not possible anymore, I understand. I have a lot of different windows/portfolios open now. THX!
Jerry Medved
no, cannot assign source by symbol. However, if you have the 2 portfolios, you can still leave the same crypto symbols in the stock portfolio. MT will ignore them as far as requesting quotes, but as long as they get quotes in the other portfolio, they will be updated in both. You can then just minimize (but leave open) the crypto portfolio
