JamesKB2
Hey guys, So MT is working ok with selling positions I have in a Robinhood account (yeah, I know, but it's a side account I used for hyper spec trades), but I can't seem to initiate (open to buy or sell) an option trade. I use the Ameritrade Data feed (main account). With all the new sign ups in Robinhood being reported, it might be fruitful for MT to work a little smoother through the Robinhood API. Just a thought, I've tried several times over different days on different stocks to buy calls or puts but get an error. Window shot attached as an example try (just now) so you can see. Jerry Medved
found and fixed the issue - the internal symbol lookup was not working for that specific option symbol. Fixed. Please select FILE / HELP => Check for updates. Let MT update all files. Restart MT, even if nothing was updated. After that the trading for that FDX option symbol will work. JamesKB2
Thanks Sir! As I said, this was an issue across different stock symbols and different strikes, both put or call. I got the sense that MT was talking a different language than Robinhood, but the correct language for Ameritrade (because I can trade through MT to Ameritrade no problem). I'll try it out again, on different actual trades and see how it goes. Thanks again.
JamesKB2
Ok! I just tried random options on several different stocks, using the option chain window/right click/trade and sending it to Robinhood was successful each time. Perfect. You da man!
