HIGH99
I have been using Barchart for my data feed for the past two years for futures (Dow mini). I thought I would give TD Ameritrade a try. I can't seem to get the data feed to change from Barchart to TD Ameritrade. TD Ameritrade now works for the index function (DJI 30) but the futures seem stuck with Barchart. I've disconnected the Barchart login and password, but then still no futures, just the Dow index feed comes in via TD Ameritrade. Any ideas? Jerry Medved
Are you switching the datafeed on the portfolio toolbar on top? Or in settings? The reason I ask is because settings are used for configuring data feeds not for selecting them
HIGH99
Yea, settings. Now switched to the toolbar. Using the symbol /YMZ20 and nothing happens. Using the Barchart symbol @YMZ20 and it continues to work. I suppose it must be TD Ameritrade.
Jerry Medved
@YMZ20 is the MT symbol format, not barcharts. That is what should be used regardless of source. for Ameritrade, it is also better to use the continuous contract symbol: @YM
HIGH99
So @ is the correct symbol to use. Interesting, never knew that. Yep, using @YMZ20 works for both BarChart and/or Ameritrade as the source. Thanks much.
