Hans
Hi, Is it possible to view realized PnL in the trade log, or maybe get some other summary view displaying a list of closed trades during the day/week etc with their respective realized PnL? Greetings Hans
Jerry Medved
Not really a log thing. But you can see realized P&L in positions. Just select the option to show closed positions, and of course add the realized P&L or realized Gain $ columns

Hans
I thought I found it but I didn't. Can you guide me to the option how to filter for closed positions? Thanks,
Jerry Medved
ACCOUNT VIEW window. click on POSITIONS tab. Now on the VIEW tab on the toolbar, check the "Show Closed Pos." box

Hans
the account view which I configured shows both open and closed positions. I am trying to configure a view to display closed positions only. whilst there is a checkbox for closed positions, there seems to be no checkbox for open positions - would it perhaps be possible to add that ? Jerry Medved
no, don't have that. Never even had anyone ask for it. Why don't you just sort by QTY so all closed show first.
Hans
I could, but I am probably influenced by TWS which provides a separate view for closed trades. And another view for open positions. in MT I was trying to reproduce that and configure two Account view windows: One for closed trades/closed positions, the other for open positions.
