REPLYXF
I saw this window, but keep failed, no one time password is sent. I have sent logs to support team with this tops link this
Jerry Medved
the window in question is normally hidden. MT needs to be able to virtually "type" the password. from the log you sent it seems that something is blocking that. Check what security software you have running and exclude MT from it. REPLYXF
I have add it C:\Program Files\Medved Trader\MT.exe to exclusion. but same problem. The 2 factor window couldn't login in my win10 machine. From the log, did you see my logging in sucessfully to fidelity? In my other win11 machine, it will proceed to 2 factor OTP and successfully. Any thought? I wonder if I can login manually like tradier account. I connect to traider successfully. ?
Jerry Medved
wrong exclusions: https://medvedtrader.com/wd we do not have manual login, but you can set MT to show the login window. But do not interact with it during login stage or it will cause problem.
REPLYXF
it didn't help. I wonder if your software supports windows 10: my windows 11 laptop works fine. but windows 10 desktop does't work.

wilywilly
A slightly different Fidelity login issue - running 1.1.9932.346 x64 under W10, the Fidelity login faults several times on startup, repeatedly. This morning it took 5 tries to log in. Once it's running, doesn't seem to be a problem. I am not using 2-step verification. On a second W10 computer the Schwab login connects first time, every time. Is there something inherently complicated about Fido's login? Is this a common issue for others?
Jerry Medved
well, for starters, Schwab does not need to do full web login every time. With Fidelity, we do. Can you get the beta version of MT and let me know if you still encounter the issue? https://medvedtrader.com/beta
wilywilly
Running the beta, it came up & logged into Fidelity on the first try. I'll report in a few days/weeks if the problem recurs. Thanks!
wilywilly
After installing the latest update to 1.1.9932.400 last week, the Fidelity connection seems pretty reliable. It often fails once in the morning when I'm starting up a ton of stuff, but generally stays connected all day (even though late in the evening it has a hard time, but that's not a problem since the market is long since closed.)
