Jerry, I have to tell you that I'm probably not going to wait much longer for this index bar. It's not that it's so important, it's just that I find myself spending less and less time on MT and have found simple workarounds on free programs like TOS to get the things I used to have on QT. It is soon going to reach a point where it doesn't make sense to be a paying subscriber for something that duplicates other programs I already have.

 

I appreciate the time you spend answering questions and developing new features but  I wish you would have focused more on restoring MT to the functions we were used to on QT - and then add new ones. I wish you well but thought you might want feedback before someone leaves rather than after.

When  I went to log in to MT today it directed me to the startup wizard and it became clear to me everything i had saved like portfolios, chart views etc. was lost. I was able to import my portfolios from QT but obviously in a few days that luxury will be lost. The program was normally shutdown the previous day so I'm at a loss for why this happened.

Would that hold true for Vol % also because it's not filling in either and is very useful to me.

I'm glad my QT portfolios transferred over to MT without a hitch. That would have been a pain reconstructing them.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm not seeing the pin on the chart. I see a  "+" for the trace link group. Same thing?

I have a daily chart set up with the 10day sma, 20 day and 50 day. That is all I want. How do I get rid of the grid lines and symbol name in the chart body? Also, is there a way to scroll through each chart in a portfolio while in charting mode (like a next or previous arrow)? And when I minimize a chart window, I don't see where to retrieve it. Must be a button I'm missing because when I click on the symbol in the portfolio nothing happens   ...... like it's saying "it's already open dummy".
