  1. Thanks for the update! I do have some questions.

    1. Does this integration with Schwab mean that stock quotes and trading is available through MT?
    2. Do we need to perform an update to enable this new integration?
    3. Can we also get index quotes using this new Schwab integration?

Thanks for your response. There may be others with similar questions.

  2. Back here looking for an update on the Schwab API situation and so far no change. Schwab appears to still have not released the API that Jerry needs to implement it into MT. For some reason, it appears as though Schwab is either overwhelmed or does not deem this issue a priority. Fortunately, I use Tradier as my data feed for stocks and it continues to work great! I was using TDA for index quotes but now use Yahoo, which is OK. Any suggestions for a free data source for index quotes that may be better than Yahoo? Thanks!

  3. I guess I spoke too soon! I run MT on my laptop also and it is now doing the same thing as my desktop was doing. I put in my username and password and it indicates invalid. I already reset my password previously. Any ideas on how to proceed? Thanks!

  4. For some reason, when I attempted to open MT today, I was prompted to enter my username and P/W (I have it saved so it normally just opens without entering credentials). When I enter my login information, it is not recognized (I have not changed anything). Any idea why this is happening and how to correct it? Thanks!

  5. Thanks for the reply Jerry!

Yes, I was away for about a month on vacation and I noticed the change when I returned. As an aside, I toggled between my primary data source (Tradier) and TD Ameritrade and now the pre-market prices changes are now displaying properly. Doing this appears to have fixed the issue. Thanks!

  6. Previously, MT would display pre-market price changes for stocks and other securities. I recently noticed that pre-market bid/ask is displayed but pre-market price changes are not displayed (I use Tradier as my primary quote source). Do you know if something changed or is there is a tweak that I can use to restore this? Thanks!

  7. As a follow up to this issue, although I can now login in to Tradier, through MT, and access quotes, I now need to login a few times a day whereas before, when I logged in through MT to access Tradier quotes, it was just once and I would not need to log in for weeks/months. Could you take a look at this? Thanks!

Most likely a temporary issue with some return values from Tradier. Please send me the logs:

Go to FILE / HELP => Send Log/Settings to support menu (from Dashboard or Portfolio)

And add this Post’s URL in the comment.

I believe I sent the log file correctly. Please let me know. Thanks!

P.S. Here is a copy of the URL that I neglected to include:

  9. While attempting to Log-in to MT, I encountered the error message below. Of course, it is all Greek to me. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

  10. I just opened an account with Tradier Brokerage because I remembered seeing a video that Jerry (I believe) had posted and he was using the Tradier Brokerage feed for streaming quotes. I was impressed by the quote speed. I recently was looking to see if I could improve the speed of the quotes that I was receiving (I currently use TD Ameritrade as my source and although the quote speed is VERY good, it is not tick by tick). Wow, what a difference! I don't know if the Tradier stream is tick by tick but it certainly appears to be so. I don't know why I waited so long to make the switch. Needless to say, I now use Tradier Brokerage for my primary quote source (I have not placed any trades with them yet so I have no comment on that)!!
