I'm being bombarded with emails from both.  StreetSmart Central, the web platform for futures and only way to trade futures with Schwab,

is toast after tomorrow,  Friday.  TDA is still talking May when they will shut down.  Hubba, hubba, Jerry.  Get that API up and running.  The clock is ticking.

I have been using the Schwab all in one platform for futures trading.  Today, I was informed that next week Friday the All in One will be dead.  

So I have to switch to Stink or Swim to place a trade.  The last thing I want to do is learn a new platform.  The stink is like looking at Albert Einstein

working on a chalk board.  So once the Schwab API is up and running, can I place futures trade thru the Medved platform, or will Medved be for only

data coming in to create a chart?  Why or why to these companies have to F up something which has been working?  Arggggh!

So @ is the correct symbol to use.  Interesting, never knew that.  Yep, using @YMZ20 works for both BarChart and/or Ameritrade as the source.

Yea, settings.  Now switched to the toolbar.  Using the symbol /YMZ20 and nothing happens.  Using the Barchart symbol @YMZ20 and it

continues to work.  I suppose it must be TD Ameritrade.

I have been using Barchart for my data feed for the past two years for futures (Dow mini).  I thought I would give TD Ameritrade a try.

I can't seem to get the data feed to change from Barchart to TD Ameritrade.  TD Ameritrade now works for the index function (DJI 30)

but the futures seem stuck with Barchart.  I've disconnected the Barchart login and password, but then still no futures, just the Dow index

feed comes in via TD Ameritrade.  Any ideas?

When I put the cursor over the MT Bull icon, a bunch of mini windows shows up, and I had two of the mini dow futures running at the same time.

Plus the dow30.  So I guess that was it.  Clicked on the X and closed out the redundant window, and problem solved.   Ah, the mysteries of the

Medved.  What other dark secrets lie in the Medved?

Since Ally eliminated futures at the end of October, I have been getting a warning upon launch about my account.

I no longer have an account at Ally.

It says I can only have one portfolio and two charts open.

I only use two charts.  The mini dow, and the dow 30 index.  Yet now the program will only let me open one chart.

Not both at the same time.  This started this morning.  Yesterday  both charts were working.

What gives?  I am now using Barchart for my data source.

Strange.  For years, either using Quotetracker or MT, I have always used the /, not the @, and it has always worked.

Anyway, Barchart feed is now working.

OK, got it working.  The symbol is @YMZ18.  Same as IQ feed format.

Ok, I found it.  Under the start/stop button which is glowing green when working.  I switch to barchart, but nothing.  Perhaps I don't have

the correct format for the emini dow futures.  MBT it is /YMZ8, but with barchart it looks like it should be simply YMZ18.  I suppose I will

call them in the morning to confirm.

I have been using Ally Invest for MB Trading, and tried switching to Bar Chart after signing up.  I went to settings, and put 

bar chart on top.  Nothing happens.  Still the feed comes in from MB Trading.  I eliminated MB Trading as a source, and now

nothing happens.  How do I activate bar chart as the feed?

Ok, that would work.  I would just use TDA for my data source and that is it.  I could then "trade" using their website and order entry window or whatever.  

But someday both data feed "and" trading all in one with MT.  And that day is on the horizon?

Let see if I understand.  You do not support futures trading with TDA, however MT does get streaming futures quotes from TDA?  So if I use TDA as my

data source, I can/will get the Dow emini real time streaming data, but I cannot trade using the MT trade feature?  Do I have that right?

I have been with MBTrading (and you) going back to at least 2001.  QT alumni.  TD Ameritrade looks pretty good for trading Dow emini futures,

and then I would get their data feed as well.  I know you have worked with them for a long time, selling QT to those people.  So I assume you can

recommend them as well.  Is their data feed pretty reliable with MT over the past few years?

So I am to assume that the MBT datafeed will no longer work for futures after 10/31/2018.  Correct?  I will

have to purchase a new feed.  IQ comes to mind as I have used them in the past.

Received an email from Ally Invest last night, and spoke to Wedbush today.  Ally/MBTrading is out of the futures as of 10/31/2018.

Wedbush, who has been the clearing broker, is taking over all the futures accounts.  The MBTrading platform is going bellyup as well.

So there goes my MBTrading feed.  Have you ever done business with Wedbush?  They will be using a trading platform called CQG.

Any thoughts?  This is all new to me, and you I suppose.

I downloaded 5900.208 I believe this past Tuesday, and since then it will not backfill using MBTrading as the source.

Never had this problem prior.  Any ideas?  Is there any way to go back to the previous software release as it worked just fine?

Well everything is back up and running, but I am still using the /YMU7 as I used with the old QT, and it works just fine.  I have never used the @ symbol.

 

The raw data is coming in again as it should.  Chalk this one up to mystery of the day.

Strange.  The MBTading website uses /, not @.  I have been using / all along and it works.  I now tried @ and it works as well, and 

raw data now shows up.

/YMU7  from MBTrading.   I have one chart, and I right click to open a menu box.  About half way down it says "raw data/ T&S for /ymu7.

I click on it and it opens a rolling raw data window.  I used to be able to make the window wide or narrow, and resize the columns.  Now

 no data, and no ability to make each column narrower.
