Hi, I guess the only quote source is Yahoo unless you have an account with one of the listed services?
I ask because Yahoo is giving bogus data for stocks trading below 50 cents, does not acknoledge 1/2 cent pricing.
Example: OSU on the TSX, yahoo only shows prices 0.02, 0.03, 0.04 but not 0.025, 0.035, 0.045
I have been able to backfill historical and daily with google, however, the current price is
often not correct, for example right now showing 0.03 and not the correct 0.025 cents, and
the historical chart takes the current price from the portfolio price I guess.
I should be able to get the correct historical chart tomorrow by backfilling from google, but
unless the price moves off of 0.025 then it will still not really be correct.
I guess the question is, are you plannin on allowing google for a source?
Or perhaps bring back allow Globe Investor as QuoteTracker did.
Of course what I would really like is support for TD Waterhouse accounts
Thanks.

Would love to test it out. Am currently using TD Waterhouse in Canada.
My biggest use though would be for charts.
Missing Dividend Events
in Bug Reporting - Public
Posted
Hi,
Congratulations on the release!
I was reviewing the latest version, and see I still have a problem with historical dividend data.
The dividend event data does not get downloaded for some securities
Example of not getting downloaded:
AXP-PB.CA
Dividend data exists, see: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=AZP-PB.TO+Historical+Prices
Example of dividend event working:
BCE.CA
Dividend data on yahoo: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=BCE.TO+Historical+Prices
I just realized that the dividend event data is not working if I specify the yahoo format of BCE.TO,
but does work if I use BCE:CA, leading me to believe you do not pull the dividend info from yahoo at all,
but some other source? And maybe the other source does not have dividend info for all securities?
I had noticed that dividend info had stopped coming down with the old QuoteTracker program a couple
of years ago, so assuming something happened withe getting data out of yahoo, and I compensated
by manually adding dividend info, but the ability to edit historical data is not (yet) in the new version.
Thanks for your time, and thanks for the program, it is excellent!
