Yes, I know it can be done by holding down shift key but it's not about whether I can draw it or not using line tool. It is about ease of use. Reasons to add Horizontal Line tool to drawing tools: 1. It is a lot easier to draw a horizontal line by a single mouse click vs holding down shift key and drag it to the right and let go 2. trend lines and horizontal lines are used differently. Many of us use trendline with extend left and extend right unchecked so different line settings are needed for trend lines and horizontal lines. 3. Only way we can use Horizontal line tool is to set the Default annotation to Horiz. Line in Settings -> Charts -> General. If we change to a different drawing tool, there is no way to go back to using horizontal line tool.

The problem is most people prefer to use Line Tool as trend line tool with Extend Left and Extend Right unchecked and Horiz. Line tool with extended line both ways. So different default settings are needed for each tool otherwise, we will have to constantly right click and change line settings if we were to use both tools.
