Although the portfolio editor allows you to sort stocks with the highlighted portfolio, there is no way to sort the list of portfolios themselves on the Left-hand side without tediously exporting and importing each one in the sort order you want into a blank copy of Medved, this is an extremely tedious and time-consuming process easily rectified by the simple addition of a sort by portfolio option somewhere on that screen. Please consider adding this in a future update.

Hi, I had my laptop motherboard fail so I removed the Hard Drive and installed it in a caddie to use as an external Drive on a replacement laptop. All Data was saved accurately on the removed drive and none has been corrupted or deleted. After reading your forum I attempted to restore from backup the portfolio data. Are portfolios part of one large backup file? I navigated to D:\\user\myname\Documents\Medved Trader\Backup but although I know I have used backups no file was found. Am I looking in the correct location?

OK just updated, still nothing from bell direct however Yahoo Finance does populate those fields. The refresh button doesnt seem to change when im logged into bell direct either so Im wondering if medved trader is blocked or something else is wrong with that particular supply source?

Hi, Since updating medved trader, it will log in to my usual data source (Belldirect) but hasnt updated any prices or Volume information since doing this a few days ago. I tried the usual fixes of setting the log level to 100, restarting completely a couple of times - all to no avail, please assist? Version is 1.1.8200.1 x64 Kind Regards Andrew Ayers

Hi I entered a symbol of $CASH Qty = 1 Value =$2467.10 . This doesn't however carry over to the portfolio value column and get added to the total of the holdings. The version is the latest Free update as of 6/7/2017 (Where do I find the version number in the software please?) I would really like the $CASH function to work so it accurately can reflect funds I have available to invest. Regards Andrew

It happened again this morning, reset logfile to 200, restarted and fixed as per first time

Hi Jerry, Im not sure if you did something or if just setting to 200 made the difference but I closed and re-opened the program and it works fine on Level II now (1st time since original installation though) - Thanks for your assistance

Hi, Having only just re-entering the share market since the GFC days I was pleased to find you had kept Medved Tracker alive from the old QT days. I have the very latest version but have found the problem previously reported with Bell Direct Not supporting Level II feeds seems to have reoccurred. I can login fine on any browser into the Bell Direct website so it might be due to another layout change since you last addressed this. Im keen to get my trading friends back onto Medved Trader as well but would prefer to show that Level II is available before I show them the latest incarnation of the program.
