  1. Let's say I'm watching @ES#C in a portfolio... data is streaming.  I then press "STOP" - the feed stops and the button changes to "START" (as it should).  I then press START... the button changes to STOP (as it should), but the feed fails to resume.  In order to resume the feed, I once again have to cycle the button...  I press STOP (even though the feed is already stopped) and then START again, in order to resume it.

That's what I mean by having to cycle the button...

    STOP stops the feed.

START STOP START resumes it (the first START does not).

  2. A few problems, somewhat related...

Summary:  Inconsistent use of exchange.  The portfolio column "exchange" lists CMEMINI (for @ES#C), whereas the

"Charts / Timeframe" does not list it by the same name.  The closest match is "CME Globex."  I don't know if this is an oversight, or intended to be that way.

Summary:  Cannot add "Mid-day Breaks" to "Charts / Timeframes."  I had noticed that "CME Globex" listed "Active Market Hours" from 5:00 PM to 4:15 PM, with 1 break from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM.  What about the break from 4:45 PM to 5:00 PM?

Summary:  As you watch @ES#C throughout the day, the graph begins to show a shaded section representing "after market" trading hours, which is very nice.  However, the shading disappears whenever you restart a graph (i.e., when historical data is requested for a backfill).

Summary:  The graph y-axis (price) labels seem to be missing.  It is difficult to estimate prices without incremental labels, or at least tick marks, present.  Please see the attached PNG screen capture. - could not find an attachment option, sorry.

Summary:  There is no way to see the pricing of prior tick bars on the graph.  Placing my cursor on the tick/bar of interest does not yield information about that tick/bar (i.e., OHLC or at least some price).

I'm also seeing IQfeed disconnect with a "multiple instances" warning today.  The only difference between today and yesterday is an update to Medved Trader.  I've not yet isolated this; it seemed to start doing it after playing with the "START/STOP" feed toggle button, which I've reported in another thread.

    Thanks...

  3. Summary:  The [sTOP]/[sTART] toggle button in the portfolio and watchlist requires a double-toggle to get working.  Once you STOP the feed, another click does not START it, even though the button updates.  Instead, you must go through another full STOP/START cycle to restart the feed.

    Version:  Medved Trader 1.0.1289.2254, Windows 7 x64, IQfeed 5.1.0.5

Applies to prior versions:  Don't know.

Probable Cause:  Assuming symbol @ES#C is currently being monitored; when STOP is first pressed, "r@ES#C" is properly injected into the stream and the button toggles to START.  When START is pressed, "w@ES#C" + "n" is not injected into the stream; possibly only "n" (news) is.  The button updates to STOP.

Solution:  Fix the toggle; allow binary state only, or use a state machine to track current settings.

I will try and post some additional comments regarding problems with how graphs are displayed, after a cursory review of the forums to make sure I'm not duplicating an existing report.
