krmorton
Hello, I'm sure there is likely a very simple solution to this, but I've been reading through the help file and the forums and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to enter a stop-loss order in MT. Is the terminology different in MT? I see the options in the trade ticket window for Limit, Stop-Limit, T-Stop, etc but I don't see any way to enter a limit order with an attached stop-loss? Thanks, Keith

krmorton
Hi Mike, I'm with Interactive Brokers. Thanks, Keith
Mike Medved
IB allows OTA (One Triggers Other) orders, which is what you're looking for. On the bottom of the trade ticket you will see some "Conditionals" orders. Pick OTA.
krmorton
I see the option for the OTA there Mike, it wasn't making sense to me before but I think it was because the option was set to "Same" instead of "Reverse" when I was looking through the conditionals. I just checked it and it seems to make sense when it's set to "Reverse". I'll see if I can give it a try next time. Thanks for your help, Keith
