Here's an idea if you can create an event scheduler that runs specific scan for specific portfolio at scheduled time or intervals. Scheduler can be separate UI or another tab in portfolio window (similar to flipper). Perhaps calculate the average run time to help user scheduling tasks for a portfolio and scans.
Since most data feeds have limits, it may be helpful to batch data fetch in rotation for n number of symbols.
For example, an actively monitored watchlist can be set to Realtime data feed. But all other watchlists or portfolio can fetch data in batches within the total symbol limit.
