    TDAmeritrade account on both.

Left raw data is from my dad's computer and right raw data is from my computer. Both are updated beta MT.

Trying to understand why he gets more Volume/trade info than I do.

Comparing different stocks they do the same as this one.

If I look at the regular volume column in my portfolio then it matches his.

This started happening Wednesday or Thursday of last week. Was normal before that.

Looking for info on what I might need to change to test or fix problem.

  2. Mike,

I think the different is I have my own chart colors so when I pick from the Simple Paintbar Editor they don't match.  Some match and some do not.

If I pick the Green color of MainIndicator2 in the paintbar editor then on my chart colors it is different.  Now that I know this I will pick from the colors I didn't change like the bid and ask or the volume up and down.

  3. Jerry,

On the Simple Paintbar Editor if I use "Set Color to Named" the pulled down is blank.  If I type something into empty box it changes the paintbar shape color to a pink color.  If I delete what I typed into Set Color to Named and resave then color shows correctly again.

    Thats it.

  4. On TDA I've been getting this same problem with some stocks while the US markets are open.  If I clear out some of the data it will refill correctly.   Only the Intraday charts seem to be acting this way.  My time frame are 15 min and 240 min charts.  The Historical charts seem to be working correctly.

I'm on Windows 7 x64  with latest Beta of MT

  5. Mike,

Hello.  I've notice that the Derivative Oscillator in MT is about 1 bar behind what I see on internet.  I played around some with it and found changing N2 Period has no effect on the histogram. Could that be the reason why it's one bar behind?

    Thanks LW

  6. Mike,

I think it's backwards.   When stock goes up the bars on this Derivative Oscillator are going down. Also if it goes down bars are going up green. Should be the other way around. Stocks goes up bars on Derivative Oscillator are green.  Stock down Derivative Oscillator red.

  7. Can we get the Derivative Oscillator? I have the book by Constance Brown and thought it would be great in MT.

    Thank you, LW

    The TradeStation formula is:
    Input: LENGTH(14),PERIOD(9),PERIOD2(45);
    Plot1((XAverage(XAverage((RSI(Close,14)),5),3))-(Average
    (XAverage(XAverage((RSI(Close,14)),5),3),9)),"Plot")
