Hi,
It appears that Webull data is not updating last price and time and sale during outside regular trading hours. I can see bid ask in portfolio and chart but candles don't form. Quote box on chart shows last price from previous close, and bid/ask. I can backfill manually and candles form but last price remains same and candle stall again. Things get normal after market opens.
Webull app shows data as normal and candles forming. I have NBBO and level 2 subscription.

@makincash You can right click on Medved floating logo or there's one in notification bar and it has option to bring all windows to front.
You can also Shift + right click any MT window in Windows taskbar and this option is available.

Flicker can be pronounced if some window are overlapping each other, even on edges.
under Settings \ Application \General
Try unchecking Bring All Windows to Front when one Window is clicked.
This should reduce flickering and improve keystroke entry in target window.

Here's an idea if you can create an event scheduler that runs specific scan for specific portfolio at scheduled time or intervals. Scheduler can be separate UI or another tab in portfolio window (similar to flipper). Perhaps calculate the average run time to help user scheduling tasks for a portfolio and scans.
Since most data feeds have limits, it may be helpful to batch data fetch in rotation for n number of symbols.
For example, an actively monitored watchlist can be set to Realtime data feed. But all other watchlists or portfolio can fetch data in batches within the total symbol limit.

I clean installed MT in to a sandbox and option symbol charts open normally (both historical and intraday) while Yahoo is data source. But when I enabled Webull as data source, historical chart don't work anymore with error: "There no data to chart". I am sending you log to review when you get a chance.

I am running v 9400.101. Default backfill is Yahoo for options but I have manually tried other sources, Webull, Interactive brokers.
I added Webull subscription for L1 quotes from OPRA, the live quotes works but I did not know about webull doesn't offer backfill.
I did not add option symbols to a portfolio. I only right click on option chain and open a chart.

Hi,
Charts for stock option prices are not working with any data feed. I have Yahoo Finance and Webull live stream subscription. Option chain shows data feed is connected and quotes are streaming but any intraday or historical chart shows " There no data to chart". I tried manual backfill but it doesn't help.

@makincash From you comments in the past, can you tell if multiple Questrade accounts you use are single profile or another Questrade profile accounts linked to one? I hope you don't mind personal inquiry and tagging you here.

Account belonging to each profile show up ok in MT when logged in to that profile. Only linked accounts don't populate. They show up in my primary profile when I login on Questrade portals as follows:
My accounts: Margin, RRSP, TFSA
Family accounts: TFSA, RIF
I am not sure if their API offer this capability. May be some other MT user can comment who uses Questrade in in similar way.
I have emailed Questrade API support, hope they can advise if this is supported in their API. Perhaps you can send inquiry from side as well?

I tried to verify accounts but MT only populates accounts for primary profile (questrade username/password). It does not populate accounts from a secondary profile that have been linked to primary in Questrade backend.
Do you know if Questrade API used by MT supports managing linked account in single profile?
Alternatively, can more than one questrade profiles be logged in MT at same time? Override that error I noted above.

Hi,
I have two two user profiles with Questrade, both having individual accounts. I can use one profile in MT but I could not add the second profile. I get following error:
"You already have Questrade in list of brokers. There can only be one login entry (with multiple accounts) for Questrade."
As work around, I linked both user profiles on Questrade, now I can view all accounts in primary profile (both website and questrade apps) but they are not showing up in MT.
Any idea what can be done about it?

You are right, MT hotkeys do add some magic to trading 🙂. For me, passing ad-hoc values and reducing number of hotkeys to memorize is two of the possibilities. I am sure others may discover many more ways to take advantage of it. You can potentially phase out exiting hard codes shortcuts for chart frequency and period.

Thanks Mike, you are right, it does work properly if I delete option not needed a change.
I hope you recall I requested a feature for special hotkey variable that prompts user for ad-hoc input to be used in hotkey conditional. There are many use cases but it can be very useful to in this case that only one or two hotkeys can perform numerous changes on chart quickly. Other use cases I had in mind was entering ad-hoc limit price, stop price and quantity etc. UI can be simple but functional like CTRL+K hotkey prompt.

Minor issue: When using this feature to change frequency, chart period changes to All data even when no change is selected for period.

Can you please check Time value column in portfolio? Is this meant to be extrinsic value of option?
Help doc says:
Option's time value - difference between option price and its strike price
But values don't add up. For example.
.LSPD_210416C65
Option Last: 6.00Time value: 0.05
Stock last: 70.95
Extrinsic value= Option price - Intrinsic value.
0.05= 6-(70.95-65)
Time value shown in this column is more likely Extrinsic value.

I use MT hotkeys to switch accounts on any window, either individual account hotkey or a single hotkey to cycle through all one by one.
I also have a portfolio window where I keep list of all trades, divided by sections. It keeps individual trades in one place and gives me sub-total of each account as well as portfolio total. I keep it updated manually.

MT does not support multi-leg orders, yet. Pending orders show up as single order for underlying ticker. See under transactions tab on Account window. They don't show on chart for me, there can be some other reason for it.

I have similar problem with option trades Questrade. I simply edit symbol in portfolio to add value after decimal. It then works as normal.

I posted my code above but I guess code is not allowed.
Plotting Compare Symbol is no problem, it works with or without paintbar.
My goal is to track last prices of two symbols, add or substract them and plot a line in lower indicator window. It works fine for more liquid symbols but less accurate estimate when one or more symbol is illiquid. I would like to set alert when net price is closing in my target.
There's no last/bid/ask price option for Compare Symbol, I use short time frame to simulate last price. Is it possible?
If paintbar parameter could accept string then copying symbol will be easier, instead of updating in the paintbar and having to manage multiple paintbars.

Both pre and post market
