  1. I'm just glad there is something mostly usable (for me at least) now from Schwab. Keep up the good work! Medved trader is still the best way to track everything at once for thoughtful trading.
  2. TD and Schwab match pretty well with watchlist in Schwab and selecting just LLY from TD. It is primarily the bid price (and somewhat the ask) in the RAW data display that strays for the Schwab feed. TD RAW tracks it well. Even the level II (not sure where that is coming from) for Schwab tracks it better then the RAW data display. RAW data display in LLY is just more active, showing lots of trades with fewer than 100 shares. These don't appear in the Schwab RAW data.
  3. Looking at LLY during regular hours and it seems like the Schwab only updates for large orders. TD gets every tick. As a result, bid and ask realliy trail on the Schwab feed. Still think I should open an account with another broker. Is there one with tick data similar to TD Ameritrade?
  4. Jerry, I was a programmer for 40 years and I don’t envy you working with someone else’s idea of a user interface. Been there, done that.
  5. Here's an example of LLY prior to opening today. TD on the left, Schwab on the right. Both set for NO FILTERING. Lots more info from the TD feed than the Schwab.
  6. I've just installed the beta to give Schwab a test spin. Severly disappointed, but not because of Medved Trader (I think). I'm running Schwab feed on one machine and TD Ameritrade on another. The RAW feed from TD is far superior (finer grain updates and more often) to that from Schwab. Particularly in pre-market reporting. Lots of activity shows on TD, little to none on Schwab. I don't need a lot of bells and whistles for my type of trading, but I would like at least see as much as possible on the RAW feed. Can anyone suggest a broker (or low cost data feed) with a better live feed than Schwab that can be obtained just by opening an account with them?

    Schwab API

Thanks for the info and the program that allows me to see everything I need at once.

    Schwab API

Clearly the question is, will Medved Trader be ready for Schwab data feed by May 10th? If you cannot be sure due to circumstances beyond your control please let us know ASAP. I'll need to open a small account at a brokerage that already is integrated into Medved in the next few days. Schwab I can lose, but not Medved.
  9. Just got a call back from Schwab and they have approved delaying the transfer of my remaining TD accounts until 2024 (didn't have a specific date yet). If you are in the same situation I would recommend calling soon.
  10. It is only about the data feed. Both of those options will incur monthly fees until Schwab decides to provide you the API. I see Fidelity as a way to avoid those fees. Am I incorrect that the Fidelity feed will provide the same data as the TD feed?
  11. I'm scheduled to have the last of my TD accounts transitioned November 3rd. Called TD and they said it is too late to change. Gave me the "transition specialist" number for Schwab (800-780-8614) and they are trying to delay the transfer of all my remaining TD accounts to be included in the next "group" (presumably March 2024). Will get answer on if this is possible tomorrow. If this falls through I'm thinking I'll open a small cash account with Fidelity and hope it gets completed before Nov 3rd. Would this be a working alternative Jerry?
  12. I've got 10 accounts with TD and for some reason 3 will not be moved till Nov 6. Just signed in on MedVed with one of these three accounts and all is good on MedVed (though market is down). Just got lucky I guess with the 3 accounts. Hope this helps some others.
