  1. I installed MT and selected Etrade as my quote source and elected to have my QuoteTracker portfolios imported. When MT started up, it asked me for my Ameritrade credentials. I think that the chosen quote source should override the imported quote source. I switched the source and it worked (nice to have Etrade working again). It would also be nice if MT could import my QT charts and their layout on the screen. I normally have about 70 real-time charts running and redoing them by hand is a bit of a chore.
  2. I was creating a new chart when I got this error: Medved Trader encountered an Error Index was outside the bounds of the array. Please contact Medved Trader technical support and provide the error details AppVer: 1.0.6885.1459 Err.Flags: Log, ShowIndicator, ShowToUser System.IndexOutOfRangeException: at MT.ChartWindowIntraday.DoPeriod(Boolean FullRecalc, Boolean FromDataObject) in C:\MedvedTrader\MT\ChartWindowIntraday.cs:line 1342 at MT.ChartWindow.ChartDataUpdated(Boolean FullRecalc, Boolean FromDataObject) in c:\MedvedTrader\MT\ChartWindow.Code.cs:line 2491
  3. Never mind. I did some network debugging and found the problem.
  4. I'm trying to run Medved Trader on a particular Windows 7 desktop and I get this error on this system. I've added the program to my firewall and the network generally works fine for web browsing, email, etc. I can use Medved Trader on other Windows 7 systems that I have (laptops) but I would like to run it from a desktop. Is there a procedure for debugging network issues like this?

    Minimizing charts

Changing the height of the scrollbar works quite well.

    Minimizing charts

This is the same image as my other thread but it shows the missing time marks.
  7. If I'm at 1 day and I open a new chart, it has the long decimal thing. If I then switch to 2 days, then it fixes the price display to two or four decimals. If I switch back to 1 day, it shows two or four decimals. So the workaround, if at 1 day, is to switch to 2 days and then switch back.
  8. Setting Intraday Data to 2 fixes this problem. It seems that there are a few problems related to setting Intraday Data to 1. I still have one chart showing four decimal digits but I can live with that.
  9. I am using real-time charts and the last price is displaying 13 decimal digits which squeezes the chart over to the left. Is there a way to decrease the precision to 2 places?

    Minimizing charts

I was able to minimize the stuff on charts but I'd like to be able to get rid of the scroll bar at the bottom of the chart window. I recall that there was a way to do this in QT but I don't see a way to do this in MT. Also, when I change the setting of 1 day of Intraday Data, the time display at the bottom goes away. It looks like I have to set this to at least 2 to see the times in the chart.
  11. Okay, that explains it then. Microsoft never shipped SP3 for Windows XP x64. So Windows XP x64 isn't supported. Fortunately my system is dual-boot with Windows XP 32-bit as well so I'll try installing it there.
  12. I installed it on an old laptop running Windows XP x64 and it installs but won't run. Is there a page listing hardware and software requirements?

    Beta Download

Would like a beta link. I've been using QT for ages, currently running it mostly on a 2004 laptop. I have Ameritrade, Etrade and Fidelity (delayed) for quote sources.
