Jerry/Mike, what would be required in order to add a new broker to the current list of brokers for chart trading? Do we need permission from the broker or just the account holder (password, user name etc)? Any other requirements? Thank you

Hi Jerry, When trying to set trendline alerts on historical charts, unless the line is drawn perfectly horizontal (which is very hard if done quickly), it won't draw. Can we have it so that a single left mouse click will draw a horizontal trendline when it's been selected as the default draw item? Thanks!

What about using Gnumeric spreadsheet instead? It's open source and is virtually identical to Excel.

Sorry Jerry, but the crosshair has disappeared from the daily chart and I don't know how to get it back. Also, the little data table with date and OHLC has disappeared.

Or maybe intergrate it with the OHLC window which is already there so that it's not too 'busy' on screen. ...?

Thanks Mike. I couldn't see it because my brokers don't provide that data. I have a suggestion that users may like: When you open an intraday chart, have 3 rows of depth + 'depth graph' appear in the bottom left of screen as an insert. It would be similar to the OHLC one which appears now, but coloured and a bit bigger. Option to include this automatically in all intraday charts. +- opacity. Regards.

Hi Jerry, What's the difference between 'depth' and 'aggregate depth' panels in the level 2 window please? Other than the number of levels they appear identical.

The popup window telling which files to exclude from antivirus scanning was very useful too thanks. Back to normal now.

Sorry, the problem was at my end. Appears as though MT requires quite a bit of memory and/or free disk space to run? Clearing the hard drive fixed the issue for BD. WIll check Tradingroom later.

Hi Jerry, Could you please have a look at both Tradingroom AU and BellDirect AU? Tradingroom is not updating the intraday chart properly. Been like that for a few days now. BellDirect AU is not updating historial charts. Tradingroom is also not updating historical charts. Sorry for the bother. Windows are taking a long time to open/close - not sure what that means.

import stock codes as a file with pre-defined alert types/levels

Hi Jerry, I was wondering if you have any plans to enable users to import a file (csv or excel) which has a bunch of stock codes with their alert types and levels pre-defined? eg. AAPL, price crossing up or down, $1000, bid MSFT, daily high/low, $1000, ask Thanks -
I see, thanks. Or maybe something like "delete all alerts from this portfolio"? Or would that cause issues also?

Hi Jerry, Could you make it so that when you delete a stock or portfolio, that the alerts related to that stock/portfolio are also deleted? Thanks.

Jerry, Bell Direct is not allowing log in. Have checked my password etc. and can get onto the website alright. I remember with QT that brokers would sometimes find out MT is accessing data and they would try to prevent it (even though it helps their own clients trade...idiots). Is this likely to be what's happening?

Thanks mate. I think IB is a bit restrictive on the number of stocks one can stream, from what I've heard. Will get by with Etrade.

Hi Jerry, I have a portfolio with 350 stocks in it. Takes just over 1 minute to update all data (with Etrade.au as the data source). Is that considered normal or slow? My connection is pretty good. Thanks.

Hi Jerry, When I right click in the alert editor / note tab, I can see [LAST], [HIGH] and [LOW], but no [OPEN]. Is it just me?
