A request for hotkeys to go on your to do list when you have the time please.
Backfill would be the most useful to automate the process with a small task scheduled vbscript, then an export followed by a shutdown of MT, at the end of the trading day.

Hi, JM!
After a power outage, MT advises that data is corrupted on one symbol in a portfolio and has cleared it.
Therefore, feature request, is it possible to add a feature that would include the facility to automatically export all settings and data either at MT start or MT exit or perhaps at a predetermined time, please? Perhaps a command line argument to use with Task Scheduler that tells MT to only export all rather than start.

It moves vertically, too. Once you start dragging in any direction, could then holding down the shift key force it to be either horizontal or vertical depending on the direction, perhaps? Let's say that you have click held and dragged the corner more in the horizontal direction that the vertical, then holding down the shift key would force it to continue in the horizontal direction at the same horizontal level, until you release the click hold and shift key.

Yes, there are four points on a box but you could extend the box out at the same SP level that you drew it...like a region that you want to use for an alert. As the ticks accumulate, you can extend the box over the new area of the chart.
I can select a box and move it but I lose my starting point, however I can extend a box using the corner grab handles, so it would help if I could hold down the shift key to force it to be horizontal.

Under Add/Edit Indicators, click on the pencil icon at the right of the indicator you want to edit and select the desired colour under Line by clicking on the colour box.

At the risk of hijacking this thread, can I make an observation?
When MT starts, CommSec is in prelogin and requires the user to manually force login before it starts streaming. Since CommSec times out after a period of inactivity, especially after the computer has been asleep, it would require the user to manually force the login to continue once awoken.
Therefore, can you automatically force MT to reconnect with CommSec once it has disconnected? My preference would be for the system to start and connect MT to collect the data even though I might not be available.

Please enter the custom Frequency

...defaults to the current open chart frequency in each session, which defeats the purpose of selecting a custom frequency.
For instance, I check the 60 min frequency (Ctl+7) chart then the 120 min frequency (Ctl+0/120) chart but I have to enter the custom frequency each time I change it on any chart for each session.
More useful would be a default to the last chosen custom frequency regardless of session but for all charts instead of each individual chart.

I am wondering if you can help answer a question on intraday backfilling, for me please?
I use TradingRoom Australia to backfill intraday data for a time when things have not worked properly or the internet has been down throughout the day, to keep my chart data contiguous. There doesn't appear to be an available setting for this in setup as the backfill field will not accept a tick, under Settings/Data Sources/TradingRoom Australia/Supported Functionality/Backfill (forum rules won't allow attached image).

As one of my portfolio lists is not of charts that are useful for intraday watching, I would backfill the entire portfolio list of some few dozen speculative codes, at the end of each day for that one portfolio. This also saves internet traffic, however I am currently refreshing this at 300 seconds for now.
Therefore, is it possible to implement some functionality to assist with this at some point, please?
